Coming back after a long time - OverlordX - 09-04-2020
Greetings fellow players,
I have been playing Freelancer since it came out, joined a few servers during the years but never really liked the fact that most of them did not have the original feel of freelancer to them.
Then finally found Discovery and I was stunned by the attention to detail and quickly joined and started building up my account. Joined the =LSF= , Order| , [*USI*] and finally the Bounty Hunters but I can't remember the correct tag.
I knew I had a mining ship that I used in Rheinland in order to get my credits up, a few freelancer ships for random rp events, in the LSF I had invested most of my time where I had a VHF, a bomber, a nimble small ship and a gunboat. I also remember taking part in organizing a transport division for the LSF in order to maintain a base and build up credits for the faction. In the order I only had a VHF and used it because I found the nomad interactions very nice, the USI was trasnport ship since the idea of convoys being attacked sounded like fun and finally my BHG character was created since I liked the idea of a rough and tough pilot.
I want to get back into the game and one of my main issues would be the long grind that is needed in order to get some credits rolling. I believe lots have changed and I currently don't have the time that I had back then... Can anyone help me with some tips and tricks? Maybe even a step by step guide for a good mining start or trading start... I would love to be able to get a few small ships up and running again and start roleplaying.
