OK so I'm helping a friend install Disco on a vista system. Everything went fine everything loaded properly until i got to the main menu and anything that was text was not displayed and scewed across the screen, this screenshot show just a little of what i mean. The background animations and everything were ok, its just anything that is in font is stretched flipped and just glitching like crazy. Any info you can shed on this would help tons.

one thing to say... Vista sucks never installed it and suggest your friend to uninstall it and throw it out of the window

Is this on a Large screen ? 22" or above ? What resolution ?
I have a similar problem, though not this extreme, when I changed the fonts thingy to support my native reso 1920x1200.

I'll have to check the resolution when I go back over tomorrow. I do know that it is a 19 inch screen.

Don't use on-board video and vista for freelancer.........

Well in that situation installing a video card fixed the problem.
But congrats on it working for you.
