Help: I can't update the launcher 4.91 - Alpha - 09-14-2020
Hello I need some help to update the launcher please,
I just installed both Freelancer and Discovery launcher 4.91 and when I open the launcher it gives me message that I need to update "Patch launcher" so when I patch it, it closes and never open again. (I need to reinstall it again)
I tried to patch it manually using DSSelfPatch.exe it gives me this message,
"remote version is equal to or lesser than local version. Remote:214 Local:214
The program will now exit"
Any help please?

The launcher open normally when I install it but when I click "Patch Launcher" it closes and never open again, I must reinstall it or uninstall/install it again to open it, and so on every time.

Do you attempt to open it manually again, or are you expecting it to open itself?

I tried both ways and both are not working for me.
Can I update it manually? download the patches and update it?

Can you expand on 'not working'? What happens instead?
I don't have any instructions to give to people to try to patch things by hand. It's not a thing we seem to need for anyone else.
