Hello folks
I created an account here years ago but never actually played for some reason here, was called elsewhere...
Now for a short time now I live on a different continent, in France, looks good to me
Now I am downloading all the goodies and expect to play here soon
Where should I start off? What is expected from me as new player? Where do I go and do?

You should give this https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=151935 a try - they'll hook you up with a "starter package" for returning veterans.
As for where to start - that depends entirely on what you enjoy! I'd probably ask any number of faction players to shadow and/or tag along to see what type of gameplay you might enjoy!
