Yeah I do think this needs to be done. Especially after seeing what the long dead Amalgamations account pulled - why would anyone try to RP to fix reps when there's inactive people ready to screw that up readily around instantly.

Just do loads of man made A.I. (which will not be alien - ***** of bases have drones that run the shop and presumably a lot of functions at the base so they are present in-lore)
on another ID

And then go the route of e.g. Hellfire and other factions to get an A.I. ID implemented that isn't alien.

Can we simply close this thread. It served its purpose - more or less. This place is nothing but a complaint thread where the discussion keeps looping.

What are you talking about
We just showed GMS how impossible it is to try to fix the reps without an OF
Thanks to the dead "The Amalgamations" account example here
https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=184047&pid=2196278#pid2196278

And now talk about a new generic A.I. ID instead
definitely productive - I hope it happens for the sake of the active players. They could have e.g. 75% on Gammu tech too or something eventually

Also let's talk about The Amalgamations
- It was a killer robot faction, with great ideas and player base.

You know how long it took for the faction to die from starting the faction threads? two months. Zero posts after that until now. Now maybe the people running it were just incompetent, but I'd like to believe it does show the lack of long term appeal of killer robot when nomads exist.

Snak also said he's starting a killer robot faction. Did he do anything with it since announcing? No. I doubt he will, and I would be shocked if he ever gets enough log time for it to get into OF territory on killer robot alone.

Imo thinking about the generic AI ID and even giving Gammu to Lyth are viable discussion points

EDIT: I won't reply to your last post below this. You are better than that.

None of the points mentioned above make any sense.

It does make sense, someone is maliciously trying to thwart their attempts through edgy rhetorical RP and giving them bad rep.

I advise you disregard them and continue on.

or optionally goto that one transhuman faction that acts as a middle ground for negotiations between sentient AI and humans

excuse me but shouldn't ai be deleted from the mod alongside reapers of sirius and phantoms

RE: AI rep - no action. - Goliath - 10-17-2020

Or just reintroduce them as something else. Idk. I should stop posting here.

Let's have just Freelancer Artificial Intelligence ID
