How does one put the fancy things into one's sig on these forums?
Examples that I have seen are incorporating buttons and having a slide show effect.

Some make many signatures and turn them into a slide show with GIMP or Adobe Image Ready. I think they are animated .gif* files.

Something I have never learned how to do:unsure:

EDIT: And yours is far to big:shok:

No excuses!

Tenacity's signature is in fact not bigger than yours and does fit the limits (the mods would delete it otherwise).

Yours is well-made, but really, far too wide! It stretches my screen and I'm using a wide-screen monitor...

Edit: It's too tall as well, 700x200 is the limit for everything inside a signature, including the text below or above images...

I'm not saying that I have a poblem with making it smaller, I was trying to say that I will need some time to do so

I've recently noticed there is a code option in the post box, does anyone know what code language that is?

Also, If only the spacing between the text was not doublespaced...

The "code" designation is not actually for "coding" (as far as I'm aware), so to speak; it is designed to allow you to show things without formatting getting in the way.

For example, if someone doesn't know how you change the size of text, it wouldn't really help to write something like

Quote:All you do is put the text in tags like these.

What you need to do is show what it looks like while you're typing it, not what it looks like when displayed. With the following example, I just put it in the "code" tags and you see it with no formatting.

Code:
All you do is put the text in tags like [size=5]these[/size].

For those wondering how to do "code" tags, the above looked like this while I was typing it:

Code:
[code]All you do is put the text in tags like [size=5]these[/size].[/code]

As for your doublespacing problem, you just need to delete any linebreaks between the segments. For example,

Code:
SAMPLE SIGNATURE
[quote]
Something that's mildly funny
[/quote]
[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-oVI]A link of some sort[/url]

appears like this:

SAMPLE SIGNATURE
Quote:Something that's mildly funny
A link of some sort

The reason there's that space in the middle is because of the placement of the tags; they don't need their own lines, just merge them with the text like so:

Code:
SAMPLE SIGNATURE
[quote]Something that's mildly funny[/quote][url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-oVI]A link of some sort[/url]

Which appears like so:

SAMPLE SIGNATURE
Quote:Something that's mildly funny
A link of some sort

Hope that helped.
