Thank you for your concern, Interstellar Beacon flared rather well. We had many orders to build equipment and grown into a quite nice establishment with a lot of work ahead of us. Different contacts with different people... we helped a lot of people and did even almost charity in upgrading some of devices. You may be probably not heard about it but new Hyper Surveying Scanners got themselves working without easy disruptions as before.

Nevertheless, there is one obstacle we could not pass. As every station owner, we wished to get more security against terrorist threats. Some people say it is not a concern for zoners because we are neutral. A lot of.... bullshit it is. Nobody cares for zoner neutrality, the rule of strongest is always true around. Omicronian zoners survive only because of having multiple warships to protect themselves.

We requested from Liberty Government permission already three times.... but all times we were denied. We even made a gesture of goodwill and just because of it, made work to upgrade weapon platforms, fixing them from their easily triggered sensitivity to attack any nearby neutral vessel.... but even this was not enough, our request got denied again.

Rethinking our strategy in this matter, we are in need to get permission in a different approach. We need to persuade them one by one, giving them what they wish to change their minds. What we are missing, who do we need to speak with? Or we need a person who knows them and could act in our interests, getting substantial sponsorship in gratitude for the made work.

We are wondering if you can give us a hand in this matter in one or another way? Or perhaps do you have other ideas on how could we solve the matter?

I am afraid that you are asking me to pull some strings that my hands can't even reach. As was told already, I am but a Captain in the Fifth. Working with cooperative people like you is always a pleasure, as shown on our last communications, but I am afraid what you are requesting is beyond my powers.

To add to that and give you my personal opinion - which of course matters very little to your permission request - I don't believe that comparing the Zoners that operate in Liberty with those who operate in the deep Omicrons is of right mindset. It would be justifiable for the Zoners out there to require both warships and solid armaments in their bases to defend against any threat. In Libertarian space, however, that is the Law Enforcement's work.

The Liberty Navy and the Liberty Police are on daily patrols to ensure that modular bases like the Interstellar Beacon remain safe from any and all hostiles. It is our - and my - duty to ensure the safety of the Beacon.

To sum up, if the Government has denied your request -three- times they must have good reason to.

Thank you, Captain Edwards, for at least considering. The negative result is helping to advance the idea as well in choosing a new right direction. We make a direct request to Liberty Government with our new proposition, perhaps it would help. At least, a man can dream, though, a man can dream.
