I think the system is to Small The brigand base Pelussin is in 10 k range of the tau 53 Jumpgate and the Maquis base Verdun is in plain sight when you travel the trade lane.

The system is supposed to be small. Due to some trouble with synchronizing universe.ini during the last days of preparation to original patch Lorraine's system scale wasn't reduced, but the system is indeed supposed to be small as the boundary of Gallia

Well ok, but cant that two bases be placed farther out ?

What would that achieve? Longer travel times? Slower interactions?

I'm deeply convinced (too) that pirate bases should be hidden from prying eyes. It's obvious, nah? Сan they be moved at least 17-20K away from the lanes and other lawful objects? Or spending two minutes on 20K flight is now also considered a very long, and just unacceptable, journey, eh? That kind of bases definitely shouldn't appear on the players map, or be visible on radar, when they're just flying on the lane, or got out of JG.
