I've been hired to fix some daddy issues. I'm looking for a KNF sub-lieutenant from the old Republic that disappeared, named Yuzu Takeda. Last report from him, he left into Chugoku and disappeared. I did some personal digging in your space, if you'll forgive me, and I found an old escape pod. The name plate on the side called it Yuzu Takeda's, but the side was blown open, and the internal electrical systems, including black-box and internal recording, had been EMPd. What I failed to find were any remnants of his ship. The weapon etching on the escape pod had no traces at all, which was a little weird. Normally weapon traces stay around for up to 15 years, but that's not much of a worry for me. My issue is that my client specified finding his ship, and his ship is nowhere to be found. I've searched natural deviation, and found nothing. Not even a dislodged hull plate. I've seen that you have your own native tech, so there's no reason for you to haul it off.

To further this bizarre adventure and to get payed, I need to actually put some effort in. To that end, I'd like to field Recon and Research teams in the F7/8 sectors of Chugoku for the purpose of finding any unnatural deviation that may lead me to bigger clues. It'd be in both of our best interests if your own ships were there to escort or even field the teams, yours for monitoring me and ensuring I cause no issues, and mine for not bringing unnecessary distrust from a faction I'd rather not fight, and added protection from people with more bravery than target-selection. I can also bring the teams in a ship associated with myself, or perhaps contact a third party to alleviate stress further.

Any help would be appreciated, though if you are entirely unwilling, I am capable of finding another way. However, "path of least resistance" is an ideal that I hold, so a cooperation is in my agenda.
