This is a Royal Charter granted by the Bretonian government to Bretonia Mining and Fabrication (further referred to as BMF) to stimulate the civilisation and development of the Tau Sector.

1. The Kingdom of Bretonia declares that it will not lay any claims on the Tau-23 System for the following 10 years and that it will not recognise any foreign claim on the Tau-23 System.
   
2. The Kingdom of Bretonia declares that BMF is free to treat Tau-23 as private property of the corporation for the following 10 years.
   
3. The Kingdom of Bretonia will exempt every BMF business in Tau-23 from tax for the following 10 years.
   
4. The Kingdom of Bretonia reiterates its rightful claim on Planet Gaia.
   
5. The Kingdom of Bretonia hereby grants a permit to BMF to establish a colony on Planet Gaia. Every willing citizen of Planet Gaia will be permitted to apply for employment in the said colony. Should some of the population of Planet Gaia not wish to stay on the planet, BMF is obligated to ferry them to the nearest available Bretonian immigration centre or camp, and the cost of these journeys will be shared between BMF and the Kingdom of Bretonia half-half.
   
6. For the following 10 years, all BMF business on Planet Gaia will be exempt from tax.
   
7. This charter will be revised in 10 years.
