So, I was discussing the design of a system for the SCRA to use, and I thought of something... How hard would it be for there to be a new faction, The Coalition? it would eliminate all the troubles that the SCRA have been having with using a corsair tag (and other people getting pissy about it), and it would also create some cool RP, to have single coaltion characters floating about. If such a faction existed, I would have a char in it, even without the SCRA.
I was wondering how hard it would be to impliment, and whether or not Igiss would consider putting it into the mod. I have seen at least on other server put in this faction, and it seemed to work well, but i didn't spend too much time there, so i didn't really get a good look. One assumes that the sabetours from the hispania would've survived, or that some other members of the sleeper ships would've been spies. Just throwing it out there, hope for some feedback (but no static :D )

I think that the SCRA are the alliance........ Im not sure but w/e
Oh and if you read the Helghast faction post, we are Coalition troops send after the Sleepships, but we crashed on some distant planet.

lol, QV, the SCRA is definetly coalition, thats why we have 'Coalition' in our name... And bring on the alliance, yous sleeper ships are tiny anyway.

Ahhhh a very nice thought, but remember, We are pirates, and you guys are semi-terrorist un-lawful revolutionary guys.
This is goes back to the thought of the Untited Unlawful faction, where all un-lawful groups who wanted to would fly under one flag.

no but what im saying is that we are 2 branches in the same tree.
for example the LSF and the Liberty navy. the LSF does state santioned terrorism and is liek the secret service while still being mlitary (SCRA), and the LN does regular navy stuf like the SCR.....oh this analogy is not going well.
try tihs on= we are trying to get the same cause advanced through 2 differnet methods, so it would make snese to have the same direction throuh say having 1 Commander in chief of coalition forces in Sirius.
it simplifies organization.
perhaps helghast should be less of a pirate group, as i mena we all ride capships, it would make more sense for us to be a naval power.
leave the petty pirating to ELF, we have bigger fish to fry, like sso, bs|, SF, RM, and any other faction that gets in the way of the coalition dominance of the Sirius systems.

Umm, the SCRA isn;t really interested in unification. It makes it more fun to have multiple pirates and unlawfulls running around, keeps things interesting

Yea Koolomo has a point and even tho we are pirates and stuff, we still have diff goals then teh SCRA
SCRA have the intention of returning to the Sol system.
Helghast: Control Sirius and end the Alliance, or whats left of it. And since we are not crrently powerful enough to be a millitary force? do geruilla raids and piracy

i see your points. i ws simply blinded by delusions of grandeur that we could possibly take over sirius.
btw, ive been thinking, as we are like a militant junker faction, perhaps the helghast should try their hand against hogosha in the kusari systems.
