Hi, Disco! - Zayne Carrick - 04-24-2021 Greetings, everyone. Most of you reading this don't even know my name, but it's fine. So, recently, I found myself with some spare time and decided to try Elite: Dangerous (cause I got it for free, thanks Epic Games). Wasted like 20 hours, got repeatedly killed in training conflict zone. But endless living space, starships, stations... it was awesome and beautiful. Then I've remembered that Freelancer was similar but much simpler, why not give it another try? Finished SP campaign in like 10 hours, was really disappointed that I couldn't fly endgame ships despite having enough money. Then grinded myself a real Hessian Sabre with HEIMDALLS and Natterturns. And only then I thought, why won't I check how Discovery is doing? To my surprise, it's not dead yet, but when I've looked "Players Online" section and saw like 40 people scattered across Sirius it was... meh. Waste time to install disco, set up ship only to log in and wait an hour for a meaningful interaction... Anyway, it's nice to see that this place is still going. Remember, that Disco is not the forum or the game, it's the people you've met here. Love you all! (except for vile Corsairs, weaklings from Rheinland Military, corrupt Rheinland Federal Police, traitorous Unioners and capitalist pigs of DHC, Kruger and Republican Imperial Shipping) Although these factions supplied some of the best players in Sirius.
