Allow me to introduce myself, I am Captain Kimi Takeyama of the trade ship "Daikokunyo", registered under the Hogosha subsidiary microcorporation "Daikokunyo Trading Company". We have only been on active operations for a few standard days, so as you can imagine I am on the lookout for suitable business partners not just in Kusari, but across the sector.

Of course, I know of OS&C but I recently had the pleasure of flying with one of your subordinates, a Captain Hilda Weingarten, who gave an extremely good first-hand impression of your corporation. During our discussions, Captain Weingarten suggested I should make contact with yourself if I have any business proposals to discuss.

A fortunate meeting indeed, as I seem to have a project that OS&C would be most suited to assist with. Our investors have instructed the company to try and secure a large upcoming contract for a mass-delivery of Blue Jillies into Kusari space. However, getting the product out of Rheinland is the first stumbling-block, as we do not hold the proper licences. Having done a bit of research into the logistics of taking on this contract, I see that OS&C does indeed appear to hold the desired licences in Rheinland.

Although I will need to contact other parties to arrange for storage, security, and possibly additional logistical support, would the movement of this product over the Rheinland border be something OS&C might be able to help with in principle?

Hey Cait,

Always nice to be able to drop the formalities, but some people like that stuff, neh? And on your side of things, you can feel free to call me Kimi. It's also nice to see where you've got to from the position as a sole-trader, gives me hope that I might not be flying someone else's ship for them for the rest of my career!

It sounds like you've got a pretty valuable asset there with Captain Hilda, rare to find people so multi-talented. She did say she worked on training chefs aboard your liners, so I very much hope to sample her culinary expertise one day.

But hai, on to business. I am extremely pleased to hear you are willing to co-operate on this project. The end goal will be a bulk delivery of the product to Suzuka Station in Tottori in time for their annual 'Blue Moon Race'. Unfortunately, the organisers are requesting delivery all at once, and they have not provided the final delivery date yet. Access to some cold storage would be an ideal solution, preferably outside of Rheinland to avoid any complications when arranging final delivery.

Perhaps your Barge would be able to complete the job alone, but Tottori is a dangerous area of space, and the Hogosha does have enemies that would likely interfere if they catch wind of a large supply of this nature. I'm leaning towards pulling together a small convoy for the final delivery, to decrease the probability of total failure in the case of outside interference.

So, the plan I have, as it stands, is:

Stage 1: Rent storage space on a suitable installation. I have done a bit of sniffing about already and think either Houston International or Annapolis Station in Texas would be ideal, unless you have any other suggestions?

Stage 2: OS&C will move the product to the storage location, payment to be agreed once a storage location is identified.

Stage 3: Organise a convoy with securty to transport the product to Suzuka Station. I will also make contact with certain organisations to see if they would be willing to provide additional cover as we pass through their territory.


I hope you find the above agreeable, but I am certainly open to any input you have about the logistics of the operation. I will begin making initial enquiries about storage with base administrators in the meantime, hopefully the Liberty Corporations are willing to rent out some space.

Your Proposal sounds Acceptable to me. It is true that the Barge is a Large and Slow Target for every pirate that comes by, but we aren't afraid of a little Danger. In the end, it is your Decision as the Customer what kind of ship you book for the Job. Transport to Texas with the Barge is no Problem and could be arranged easily. But sadly we have no contact with the Owners of the Both Stations you Mentioned. As for the Proposed Plan that is also Acceptable. We have Knowledge about the Tottori System and used the Suzuka Race Track ourselves in the Past, it was great fun for the whole Company as I steered my Red Velvet Club through the Race Gates. If you have any information about the "Blue Moon Race" then please send them to me, I am sure there are some in my Company that could be interested in this Event. Contact me as soon as you know more details about this job, and I will Talk with the Capitan of our Barge about it. you are also more than welcome to visit me at my Home on Curacao. But inform me before you make a Landing, the Samson Resort is Inside of a No-Fly Zone and I have to Give you a Code that brings you through its Defenses. I've been a bit busy the last few days, so my apologies for the slow return comm. I'm glad you agree with my proposals to move forward, so we can finalise the details once I've secured that storage space. Houston International appears to be run by USI, and they advertise rental of storage space, so they're Plan A right now. I haven't heard back from them yet, but if they don't respond soon I'll start looking at alternative options...

In any case, once the storage location is secure I'll leave the first stage of shipping in your capable hands, seeing as it'll be your people running the whole show for that stage of things. If there's any assistance I can give do let me know of course.

But, for now, on to other business... you're a fan of the races, hai?! I suppose OS'n'C must get a load of the charter contracts to the racetrack, so shouldn't be much of a surprise, neh? You are right I Like Races, the Speed that you feel when you Push the Engines to the Limit. I also love to feel the Wind in my Hair when I Steer my Boat through the waves of Curacao. But I am not only interested in Speed but also in the Engineering that enables us to do such things. I am an Engineer myself and like to get my hands Dirty in my Free time, even when it annoys my Wife sometimes that I have Oil on my Hands.

As for what you have to Send me about the Blue Moon Race so far looks more than good to me. As soon as you have a Time and Date for this we would Like to Sponsor it, we could Relocate a Liner for the Party and the Housing of the Racers. And I am sure that we could find one or two Employees that would be interested in Racing a bit. Contact us as soon as the Storage Facility is Ready and we will Bring the Flowers as fast as we can.

Hey again Cait,
