Noshima journals - Ortog - 06-12-2021

It was an interesting year. My company, Ashford's Recycling and Reclamation, a Junker's Congress associate, decided to seclude itself from normal House territory and proceed to establish working stations in less common grounds.

The Omegas and Omicrons, the Taus and Sigmas were favored spots. Kusari, however, was the aimed goal. Kusari that hates us, boiling with enemies, a place to prove your mettle.

We are not adverse to extreme environments, Radiation in scrap fields, enemies hunting our salvagers, hostile police and House officials, navy hunting us while we smuggled refugees from Leeds. the list just continues, but I missed Yanagi. I missed the time I flew my Blossom zigzagging in Sigma's gas clouds, dodging or chasing hogs, returning to the station to celebrate a victory or a near escape.

Now my Blossom reactor just stutters and the ship feels...constipated. If we are meant to survive here, we must get a replacement, or we will not stand a chance against the nimble kusarian ships. We settled in Newport and start considering the alternatives.

Andre Hopfner and Sean Parker, our main engineers, were quickly seduced by the enthusiastic people at Newport in their project of building a sturdy exploration ship, A Super Heavy Fighter chassis. Not exactly what we had in mind but a start, an opportunity to create bonds, a web of contacts, a good grasp of what Kusari could offer us.

And so my Aether Blossom come to be.
