I am contacting you for a favor exchange: although I am not aware of the exact details, I know that you are in contact with our director for an exchange of ships. I don't know which one you're interested in, but I could easily get you an Enterprise-class ship or a Democritus-class ship.
The Enterprise in question would be the ship I currently command, the Marrakech. The Democritus, on the other hand, would be the "Rapa-Nui", a brand new yacht just launched in Baltimore.

What I'm asking for is a ship you should be familiar with, a Corvo class deep-space explorer. As you well know, our company, although equipped with a considerable fleet, is not able to independently produce new ships, having to entrust us to third parties for the construction.
As this is a ship currently not in force with our company, with blueprints and builders from worlds "distant" from what we are used to dealing with on a daily basis, I wanted to rely on someone trustworthy to acquire one.
I am sure that you, your crew and your company, being a devoted to exploration, know how to judge the features of a model and its validity.

I would therefore ask you to buy a Corvo in my name from one of the Edge Worlds retailers, where I imagine the experience you have accumulated can help you navigate the local business. Obviously all expenses would be covered in advance. Eventually, if it were to be built from scratch, I would be willing to finance the purchase of raw materials and the transport of the same.

Speaking of your part of this exchange, I'll gladly show you both of those ships I mentioned earlier. If you tell me where you are right now I may even be able to retrieve you or have you recovered from one of our ferries or shuttles. It would be a pleasure for me to accompany you personally. As for Marrakech: it is currently en route to the luxury liner Barbados, Vespucci. As I mentioned above, I did not imagine receiving your response so quickly and so I resumed with the regular scheduling of cruises. Now, I don't know what your group's political stance is towards the Insurgency, however I advise you to beware of Liberty policy patrols. If it were too problematic for you I could move the meeting back to Curacao in about a week and a half. Let me know!

As for the list left by your man, I don't see any particular critical issues, these ships are able to accommodate almost three thousand people between guests and crew: with the great automation of the systems there will certainly be no problems in managing with a small crew. Space, then, is absolutely not a problem: the modularity of the interiors is such as to make each Enterprise unique from the other, despite the similarity on the outside. For the technicalities regarding weapons and powercore I should ask my chief engineer, however there should be no problems whatsoever.

On your list, however, there is one point I would like to focus on: the first one. Is this Scotty currently with Seabourne? Where and when were they supposed to meet? And above all, at this moment, where are they? Did you hear any news?
We are mobilizing as many ships from our security division as available to search for that man, we need to find him as soon as possible before he can do further damage to the company and to himself. Knowing where he is currently would make us stop groping in the dark.

I hope to be there within 23 hours: the cartographic data of Marrakech were not updated to the latest updated mapping of the anomalies of the area: we were moving towards where we were sure to find the jumphole for Cortez and instead we found ourselves almost lost into a thick area of asteroids.
We are still struggling to get out of that part of the Barrier. Let's hope we don't get too much structural damage, I've ordered to make our way with sheer force if necessary.
