Hi Mom,

Things are still going fine out here, but I have some bad news. I may have trashed your Eagle. There were a bunch of Xenos, a Bounty Hunter, and some transports in Kepler around Ames. When I showed up they were already talking so I wasn't entirely sure what happened, but I think one of the ships was attacked by the Navy. Then these other Navy ships came and started attacking Ames! The Xenos were yelling to defend the station so I thought I should help. Anyways, these weird looking ships showed up talking about a purge. They opened fire on us but we couldn't fight them off. I was able to limp back to New York where I left your ship at a repair shop, but it was pretty much crippled.

But that's not the fun part. I was in the Omicrons with Dad's ship when someone over the system comms in Mu was talking about a fight, so I went to where they said it was. I found an Auxesian ship, some Outcasts, and this one bluish purple thing similar to the ones in Kepler fighting each other. The Auxesian offered to hire me to help with the Outcast ships, so of course I took it. After we destroyed them there was another fight the Auxesian ship needed help with but this time against Core. It was a long fight but we managed to take out everyone we could before leaving. But get this, they paid me twenty million credits! I can finally afford my own ship now! During the fight I couldn't do anything about the cruisers, so I'm thinking about a bomber, or a maybe even a super heavy. I already asked Orbital if they have any overstock on their Tauruses, though I might get a Claymore.

But don't worry about your Eagle, I'll pay for the repairs.
