Greetings. I've witnessed some activity ramping up in the Omicrons, and I'd like offer my services to help your organisation.

My name is Leon, and I run a company called Starfliers. I suppose you could think of us as a freelance hyperspacial intelligence group. Though we are primarily explorers, we do sell rift information to anyone who uses jump-drive technology. I come forward to your organisation today after a brief conversation with one of your vessels, Order|Foxtrot. They understood what kind of services I'm offering, but refused to make any sort of decision before contacting you. Perhaps the information we gather and sell may help you combat the rising threats around the Omicrons. Below you'll find the conversation I had with Foxtrot.

The agent was right to refer you to the high command, our operatives in the field are actively hunting down Nomads and their infected ilk,
with the occasional Core ship as a bonus. Diplomatic talks, negotiations and trade deals would only distract them during their dangerous patrols in the Omicrons.
From what I understand from the report and the logs you have provided, you are offering coordinates to chart and navigate the Jump Drive network.
However, I do not see what you would want in return for such information. Nor do I see what guarantee you have of the coordinates being accurate.
Navigating the Jump Drive network is risky business after all, as I'm sure you know.

So mister Leon, what exactly do you want for these arrival vectors, and how will we know they work?
If your response is satisfactory, I do believe there might be some potential for mutual benefit here.

Wasn't sure if my transmission would be received! It's a hit and miss with this Dark Matter storm.

Thank you for the response, Admiral Solandros. During my brief travels through the Omicrons, I too have seen a rise in numbers with the Core and the Alien bastards. Thought perhaps one side of this inevitable war should gain some assistance - so it was luck that brought me to Foxtrot. Having doubts in a Freelance company, especially one operating highly sophisticated equipment is something I can understand. Me and my company wouldn't have lasted this long if we offered out of date information - especially ones of the hyperspacial kind. My Bustard may be a civilian ship, but it can handle gaining accurate rift-jump locations within a sector of space rather quickly. Since we use this data ourselves, it would be in our best interest to sell the same information we use to travel.

I could say that organisations profit from war, and I would be among them. Trying to capitalize on those who use jump-drives for combat. But... I feel that's something that would leave a bad taste in your mouth about us Starfliers. Simply asking for financial return would be... too easy. I've only ever done this once before - I'll offer you three systems of your choice, complete rift-jump information packages for each. You may test them and see if they are compatible with your equipment. If you're satisfied with my company's work, then we can talk more about what we could do for eachother.
