To whom it may concern,

My name is Lily Ward, Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Crayter Republic.
While our captains do not frequent Rheinland space too often, some of the materials delivered or acquired from Rheinland can be critical to the Republic's growth. Before the unfortunate war that plagued your nation, Crayterian shipping vessels were allowed access to your space, allowing mutual growth between our two nations. With the reestablishment of the Rheinland nation, we've found that this is no longer the case. While our captains have made several monitored trips through Rheinland, under the guidance of your law enforcement, our people have had to avoid Rheinland space for fear of legal infractions.

I would like to remedy that and open negotiations to allow Crayter shipping vessels access to Rheinland space once more. While I would hope that this issue is little more than an unfortunate oversight, should it be larger than that we are prepared to discuss the issue in detail. As it had been, Crayter looks forward to doing further business with and within House Rheinland.

In service to the Republic.

Mrs. Ward.

My name is Lothar Friedemann, Minister of Foreign Affairs. I am sending you this message to inform you about your request to renew your access to the Rheinland space. After heated discussions, the Bundestag has come to the conclusion to deny your trading vessels access to Rheinland space. The representatives within the Bundestag wish that the Crayter Republic proves that their trading vessels have no ties to the Crayter Military.

Kind regards,
Lothar Friedemann

Minister of Foreign Affairs

Minister Friedemann,

While I had assumed that this sort of thing would be common knowledge by now, I understand that not everyone keeps tabs on our Republic, and with Rheinland quite a distance away from our space it is even less of a surprise.
While our corporations work regularly with the Military, many of them also seek business elsewhere. In many respects, I would imagine it is not dissimilar to how Daumann, Kruger, and RGS work regularly with your own peacekeeping forces, while also doing business beyond Rheinland space.

I'm curious why such an issue would be just that. Surely Rheinland understands that Crayter operates much like any other House, even if tabs are not regularly kept.
To be brief, Crayter's trading outfits do indeed do business with our Military, but I assure you that the only presence of Military ships, if any, will be as escorts of our commercial vessels abroad, naturally.
I hope this explains Crayter's position, Minister. I look forward to your response.

In service to the Republic.
