Ship Scanners - Redcroft - 08-02-2021
Today i bought a bs scanner for my destroyer (Again) was thinking maybe i can use it now. After undock i am back in station and it says "ERR you can't undock with Battleship Scanner mounted. This item can't be mounted on a Destroyer. " Boom -100 mill credit. Can something be written on the scanners infocard that says what ship can use what scanner that ppl dont lose credits like me?

You can contact an admin here or on discord and they will refund you the cost of the scanner, if you didn't know it can't be used.

Nah its ok its not about the money i lost here i just dont want others to make the same mistake like me.

I feel like this falls in the same category as the MELES turret. It does technically say it's a Battleship Scanner, just like MELES' infocard claims it was made for freighters, but adding a warning in red certainly wouldn't hurt anyone.
