Hey!

Vincent here - or Vinny, V...you decide. We've met not even an hour ago in Hudson. I'm sorry for what happened in Hudson. Couldn't really do a lot there, since I'm...you know, me. Can't shoot a pile of scrap even if it was two meters before me.

You uh- did offer a visit to Planet Crete? Some "bigger" cities if I recall? Is it still up? I'd still want to know more, now that you've brought it up.

Geia sou Vinny!

Eh, well, thankfully good Corsair engineering makes fine escape pods, eh! I made my way over to that Xeno base, I hope they'll fix up the Titan and I'll be back on my way. Thankfully I took one of these Auxesian skyloi with me, so at least that's some consolation.

Anyway, Crete! Yeah, a beautiful place, indeed. Our part of it, at least. I don't know what you know or don't know, though, so I'll just forward you some brochure[1] that I found translated to English. You wanna come for sightseeing, you're welcome to. I'm a bit busy flaneuring through Sirius lately to show you around, but if you have any questions or something, shoot them my way.

Hope you enjoy your time!

Hey!

Glad you made it out safe and well. "Safe" relatively speaking. Hopefully that Titan of yours will get fixed up soon enough.

Brochure's better than nothing. Honestly? I'd favor it over a long trip to Crete just yet. Might take up on reading every now and then. At first glance, the places look really outlandish, even for Crete. Correction, especially for Crete. Haven't seen actual grass and more rustic buildings in ages. Everything's so futuristic right now that my eyes hurt from all the neon lights. Maybe one day I'll actually visit these places!

Though, say. I've been looking for something in specific. I can't really go and get it right now. And...since you seem to be having trips around Sirius, would you happen to bring some souvenirs from Crete next time you come passing through Hudson from your home? Xeno Relics, Artifacts...things like that. Not a lot of them, but something would be nice. I can't go and get them myself with all the workload, but I'll make it worth your while if you come by with them!

Vinny,

Ha, Artifacts! I don't think the ones we have are going to be of any use for you. Heard you talking about xeno alien things — and these ain't that. Not the ones on Crete, at least. The governments in the colonies panicked over these and started banning this stuff left and right thirty-odd years ago, but what we dig up from the ground is nothing dangerous. Some we even make ourselves and those fools on Manhattan or New London think that they're alien or something, ha! Not like that diminishes their value, though. We have good artisans too, and they look nice anyway. Maybe you want one to put on your bedside table, hm? Or to give to a sweetheart?

Xeno Relics are a different thing altogether, but I'm not really sure where they come from. I'll ask around, I think there's a dig of some kind on that creepy planet in Omicron Xi... But I didn't really care much about it, there really is nothing worthwhile there in terms of good food, fine wine and pretty girls. Boring.

If I come across anything I'll let you know, but if you're really interested in that you should probably look for it yourself. We export this stuff, after all, so if the price is right, I'm sure you'll be able to browse for what you need.
