Cruiser bounces around like a beach ball - extremejm - 09-29-2021

Gentlemen, first let me say how much I love this mod and resurrection of FL.

I recently purchased a Zoner Q-Ship and although I think this could be really cool, I noticed something disturbing. When fighters come up underneath me or if anything bounces into me, the ship bounces all over the place. I would think running into a Cruiser would be like trying to move a building with a car; Instead the cruiser is what moves... and moves a LOT!

It's ok, can't be fixed, unless you know how to get source code of FL from Microsoft.

Also, is the energy bar for weapons supposed to take forever to come into play after using cruise engines?

The cruise thing is an intentional design decision though.

Understood. It's just weird because no other ship does that that I've owned.

My advice for future -- don't use capships in npc-dense zones

Every ship gets bounced around, the difference is that Cruisers now have a big chunk of inertia which makes slowing down the spin caused by NPCs bumping you a lot more difficult.
