Returning player after many years - Onpwnage - 03-18-2022
I want to start of by saying that I am very happy to see Discovery Freelancer is still alive after all these years.
It has been a while. I started playing in 2009 back when I was an early teen. I read the posts of my old forum account and I have to admit I facepalmed most of the time. My English was terrible and I did not understood the concept of roleplaying. My memory fails me here, but I do remember I have learned about the server rules the hard way; by being sanctioned and asking why. It comes to mind I got sanctioned once by pulsing and razoring an official BPA snub with my indie corsair gunboat without declaring an attack.
I see my last activity was back in 2013-2014. In this period I joined several official factions: =CR=, IMG| and [ALG]. Very grateful that the =CR=, IMG| and [ALG] official factions allowed me to join their factions despite my limited understanding of roleplaying. I particularly remember @SummerMcLovin ( =CR= ), @Jack_Henderson ( IMG| ) and @Karst ( [ALG] ) spent time guiding me within their factions. I determined using the forum activity that Karst is still playing while Summer and Jack stopped.
I noticed [ALG] has lost it's official status. I would like to bring something back to the community by reviving the good old [ALG]. Does anybody know previous @ALG leadership who is still playing Disco? If so, I would love to connect with them and pick their brains. If not, I will come up with something else.
