Hi All,
i recently upgraded mmy computet to a alienware M15 R3 laptop. I installed freelancer and then the latest version of discovery. when i play the game now , i do not have any distances , speed ,etc .
tried to post a photo of the screen to show but no luck doing it .
Is this a common problem with a simple fix or a bug ?
If anyone can help , it would much appreciated.

It's typically either an issue of too big a resolution. What's yours?

Lower your resolution. Freelancer was designed when 1600x900 was the graphics limit. I have mine set to 1920x1080 on a 40" LCD screen with full HUD visible.

This usually happens when running the game in 2k or 4k. You need to replace a fonts file to make the distances work properly. Here is the link to the modified file, click "download" and put it in Discovery/Data/Fonts. Works for me in 4k, should work in 2k as well.
