I am decurion Nina Rodriguez from the Brotherhood. I have been told that one of your men have threaten the owner of the Freeport KazzMull. We have spotted the base the 4th April 829 A.S. It was also on that day I have met the owner of the station.

I told him to contact us because his base was illegal and there could be consequences. That's what he did. He contacted us and we made a deal.

So if you or us did a deal with such person or group, it will be important to say it here. Else, it will be totally catastrophic.

I had a talk with the elders and it would be more beneficial for the brotherhood and the deterrence to split the current deal. By doing so, we avoid the overtaxing. We propose 50% of the money to your bank.

Thank you for contacting us. We've also separately identified the station in question. While our initial assessment was that of a direct threat to our borders and interests, we have since made contact and our own agreement with the station's proprietor. They appear to be of Zoner origin and we generally have amical relations with their kind. I am happy to share the nature of this deal on a more secured channel if you are interested to know the details. Rest assured, Deterrence is committed to the long-term future and rejuvenation of the Corsair Empire.

As you suggest, it would be wise that you share intelligence with us in the future, in advance. Acting unilaterally can be preferable at times but it can also lead to unintended consequences and misunderstandings. I am happy to say though that everything has been arranged to the satisfaction of each party. Therefore, there's no need for you to share the profits that you've made, in the spirit of goodwill among our people.

I am sure our forces will meet again, most likely during our usual routine patrols. May the Corsair Empire prosper.

While I was enjoying a good old whisky, I heard the message pre-recorded sent by you. I was shocked to see how badly you see the Brotherhood. I think you over generalize the group. Si, some can be jerk. Si, some prefer to seek their own benefit.

We are corsairs after all. We all want to be written in the history of the empire as the best warrior. *chuckles*

About the recordings, Alberto said that the Brotherhood will destroy the station. You need to understand that if we see an unknown base, we will think it belongs to someone from the outside. If you had notified us, this event would have not happened. But because you didn't, it happened. The problem isn't us or you but a lack of communication.

However, I agree with you that we need to stop to split up the corsairs. I am not talking on the behalf of the Brotherhood or Deterrence but on the behalf of all corsairs. All I can say is, apply to the Concil of Elders. If you were not aware of its existence, now, you know.

Perhaps would it be better if you and I speak somewhere more appropriate and like this, I could maybe change their mentalities? If you agree with me, Executor Ravenna Nagash, set a place.

You must think I'm loca or a foolish cabrón. Let me outline my views in a crystal and transparent manner, as I've always done in the past.

Deterrence was getting along greatly with the Brotherhood under the leadership of Pepe Ladron, a man who I personally respect. I don't know why he left your organization or what exactly happened to him. It's truly a pity, because it seems the Brotherhood has instantly fallen in terms of class or reliability.

And don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against you Señora Rodriguez. You are here covering up for your incompetent leadership and at least you have the decency to attempt some conversation. That I can respect and appreciate.

Having said that, what I don't respect is someone threatening my assets, my crew, or turning away contractors that were sent at my behest and paid for. Especially when it's for the benefit of our Imperio, which you are also a part of. And I will be perfectly honest, clear, and transparent. If any Brotherhood vessels open fire on my installations, my crew, or our allies - you will be retaliated upon.

I don't know how the instruments on the ship of Señor Alberto Rodriguez did not pick up the fact that the installation belongs to us. Or the fact that the base is literally in the heart of our territory. Do you honestly think someone would make a base at this precise location with our entire fleet patrolling day and night? Or the fact that our contractor specifically mentioned that he is assisting us.

This trend by the way can be observed clearly, as literally in our previous communication, you neglected to inform us on time that you've made a deal with the owner of Freeport KazzMull. Which necessitated you to contact me in the first place.

The communication issues are not our end. We've made every attempt to accommodate you, despite the clear and obvious difference in our relative military strength and contribution to the Imperio. I would highly recommend that you have yourselves a pep-talk, a meeting, or something. Preferably after a short siesta, so everyone is in good mood and not feeling cranky. Then come up with a proper policy and a plan on how to work with us. Ideally, in a way that is not dependent on the mood-swings of Señor Alberto Rodriguez.

I am happy to facilitate negotiations that are conducive to dialogue once you've established basic order amongst yourselves.

Also, I am not generalizing the Brotherhood, if you ever decide that you want a different crew that actually cares for its members, you are welcomed to contact me Señora Rodriguez.

I will clearly tell you I won't join any other corsair group. For the obvious reason that the Brotherhood is where I belong. And even if the Brotherhood finishes to fall apart, I will stay on my own. I will not join the Deterrence because the group doesn't show what the Brotherhood shows.

We could talk a lot about why I don't want to join but it's not the subject here. The main point is to avoid a bloody bath for nothing. So... To begin, I do not like that you say our leadership is incompetent. You need to understand that... Senor Rodriguez is an old member from the Brotherhood. Perhaps as old as was Senor Ladron also known with his hairy macho hands. However, Senor Ladron was doing the same job as Alberto but he was more clement and soft compared to Senor Rodriguez. I know that, sometimes, Alberto can be a jerk and unpleasant but he is like this. And whatever we say to him, he is stubborn like a goat!

We can meet in Omega-5 near Cadiz. Just both of us on Sunday.
