Their leaders have chosen the second option, and thus the Kusari government, after several meetings, has approved a significant budget increase for the Kusari State Police. Until now a party not involved as much on Planet Tomioka and the adjecent regions, the KSP leadership has promised to crack down on terrorists and ensure that the Kusari Empire will not be faced with an increasing unlawful presence within its borders. Initial public response was positive, however a disaster has occured several hours ago. According to information provided by the Police until this moment, an important convoy carrying dangerous criminals and an assortment of materials to Fuchu Prison had come under attack and was subsequently disabled, with all crew reported as either dead or capture. The first Naval Forces units dispatched on the scene arrived an hour after the last distress signal was sent, however all they came across were the remnants of the now-destroyed prisoner transport. No crewmembers have thus far been located, a matter only confirming the fears of many - that the Dragons have taken no State Police personnel alive. It is unclear how the Naval Forces and the Office of Intelligence will act in the upcoming days, nonetheless it is expected that patrols frequenting the routes to Kusari's prisons will be strengthened.
