Martin Eriksson - monmarfori - 05-08-2022

Name: Martin Eriksson
Affiliation: Red Hessians
Date of Birth: January 1, 802 AS
Place of Birth: Vogtland Base, Dresden system

Early life: Martin Eriksson was born on January 1, 802 AS in Vogtland Base, Dresden system. His parents were also born in the same base, and were devout supporters of the newly-revealed Sirius Coalition. He lived with his parents until the age of ten, when they moved to another Hessian base. Like most natives of this base, he was a model man of the Volksrevolution. An icon to be feared by those who are against the Hessians and their allies.

The only problem in his childhood, however, was the constant blaring of emergency sirens. Dresden had been plagued by elements of Daumann and Kruger, who were known for providing low employment standards to their workers. He learned of this after his parents repelled a large-scale attack near Vogtland by Rheinland Military forces. One of their members was the notorious Klaus Meyer, a former Daumann security officer who left Daumann to enlist in the military, who testified to abusing many Daumann employees before being executed.

Education and service: A talented man who was ready for the bright future that awaited for him, he was already indoctrinated in the ideal Hessian beliefs. He soon enrolled at the local academy in 815 AS where he quickly proved himself as a talented pilot. He would prove his worth at a young age of 16, when he had eyed a large Daumann convoy, joined by his father and his fellow squadmates. Thanks to him, the raiding party suffered no casualties and the event was reported widely across Rheinland, prompting a surge in Hessian morale. He would soon graduate with honors during his fifth year, piloting the "Heimdall"-class gunboat Ymir.

He would soon be feared amongst his enemies, most notably the Rheinland government and the Corsairs. Despite his father's death in 820 AS, he continued to serve the Volksrevolution. He would spend the next eight years flying the Ymir in combat until he was approached by a shadowy figure, who invited him to Planet Tangier in

That figure was none other than the director of the Spezialoperationsabteilung, Drax Stahlbrecher.

Admission: After saving the director from a group of MND vessels, he was considered worthy of joining. As he had already accrued a lot of knowledge from his earlier years in the academy, he was inducted after initial training by the director. When he successfully passed all the required tests, he was admitted into the Red Hessian Army's Spezialoperationsabteilung unit.

Since his induction, he has continued to fight for the Volksrevolution. When Bretonia asserted its influence in Omega-48, he was quick to repel any encroachment. Later, after the events that ended with the reunification of Imperalist and Federalist forces into a unified empire, he managed to rout out a Unioner squadron in Hamburg. Only time will tell if he is indeed worthy, as he has given up the old designation "Ymir", instead settling into the name "Jumjaz", his codename in the predecessor form of the old Sol god.
