Captain Hawkins,

You may know me from our meeting in Colorado. The OCV Nubia has been deployed to Kepler to investigate for any alien activity and to keep an eye on the recent developments in Kepler. It is equipped to handle a wide range of threats, while at the same time serving as a mobile home for me and my crew.

The crew of the OCV Nubia has expressed interest on your offer to submit to your command, and I would agree with them. We can sort this out once we have discussed this further on the channel.

In addition to that, "Gossamer" is someone I have been looking to closely for statements concerning the Nomads. Even with the statements provided earlier, I am not sure if this one has ties to the Nomads.

Logs have been attached below.

RE: OCV Nubia and Section Eight

Agent Davids,

Going through your communication logs, I see you have had the pleasure of encountering one of Sirius' many, many ignoramuses. In the future, I advise not engaging in arguments with individuals like Rancor. If only they knew to truly appreciate their freedom to spout ignorant waste - a freedom the Order fights to preserve.

As for Gossamer. While I doubt that their words carry any actual weight, I would keep an eye on them. They may well be an associate of Revenant's and therefore a potential danger.

Lastly, my suggestion was not meant to be understood as an invitation to join Section 8, but rather advice to follow our initiative in regards to operations within and around Liberty. I am glad to have the Nubia in the region and hope you and your crew will prove as competent and reliable as other regular Order units we have come to cooperate with.

Hawkins, signing off.

Captain Hawkins,

The pilot named "Rancor" seemed in every way uncooperative to our intentions, constantly being an annoyance to us. It only confirms your suspicion that we, I mean we, are "terrorists", being falsely labeled as such in a stereotypical manner. Rest assured I won't deal with those who complain in the first place.

Also, it has dawned to me that a large presence of alien ships were spotted to the northwest of Ames. Due to the interference however, there were no clear pictures of these aliens, but the log I have sent below confirms the presence of such ships.

The Nomads had some kind of directed-energy beam, and I was forced to retreat while a Coalition battleship took care of the threat. When I returned, the captain of the Tzar gave me a million credits for my assistance.

The Nubia will ensure the continued cooperation and support of your cell. I have spoken to my crew about this, that we will provide you support in addition to conducting our own investigation within Liberty and its surrounding systems.

PS: Oh, and the "Gossamer" I mentioned to you is back here. Unfortunately, I had to make an emergency docking due to the damage sustained by the alien attack, so I had no time to gather information.

RE: OCV Nubia and Section Eight

Agent Davids,

We believe you and your crew had the misfortune of encountering the Sentinels - not Slomon K'hara, but yet another weapon left behind by their creators. Section 8 has faced these alien forms before. They are far more potent and far more dangerous than common Nomads. Engagements with them should be avoided if possible unless you have access to overwhelming firepower.

We had hoped to have eliminated their presence from Kepler and surrounding systems. It appears, however, that the Auxesians' meddling may have undone our work.

Maintain close observation of the area around the Prophet anomaly. Do not let anyone approach it too closely.

Hawkins, signing off.

Captain Hawkins,

The Nubia is currently at the Ames drydock. It is still undergoing repairs to its hull; I would estimate a few hours remaining until the Hathor-class is ready for its usual duty.

On a matter of note, the fact that the Auxesians frequent Ames in the system raises my ear about their supposed role. Your agent Corax was right, it would seem, as well as the Revenant's tendency in the logs to call herself an "alien" speaks for itself.

If they're trying to draw out the alien presence within the cloud, we would need a larger contingent to address the potential threat.

We will keep an eye on the anomaly. In the meantime, I would recommend contacting other Order cells to investigate the situation in case it gets worse.

George Davids of the Nubia, out.

Captain Hawkins,

Quite an eventful day here. You may have heard about the news about human organs, scientists and whatnot, but that probably is related to the increase in the amount of traders coming by at Ames.

But this is not my main concern. It seems that while Emissary was present at the time, this troublesome Outcast cruiser, going by the name of MNS-Borea, decided to ignore all rules and promptly engaged us first after everyone ignored his demands. Nevertheless, the cruiser went down after a coordinated effort by other ships.

It is interesting to note that both Revenant and Gossamer were spotted, though they generally abided by the no-fire zone.

I will keep you updated on the situation in Kepler.

George Davids of the Nubia, out.
