Good day, I am contacting you to formally appeal the conclusion of the breaches of the following articles of the internal code of conduct of the Forthy Sixth Fleet. i) willful damage to the fleet’s reputation or status. iv) conduct that endangers the fleet or its operatives. v) behavior that seriously detracts from the day-to-day workings of the fleet. It is the right of the Admiralty of the 46th Fleet to interpret and apply the Internal Code of Conduct as they see fit and I respect their decision of finding yours truly guilty of breaches of the above within the framework of 46th's internal regulations. I do not however believe these regulations are grounds for dismissal from Liberty Navy as a whole - for that a formal hearing with presented evidence would be required to be held is my belief. The Request With that being said, I am hereby formally requesting an amendment to the below verdict: Quote:Effective immediately, your previous orders from Fleet Admiral Martin Kemp-Smith are rescinded. Furthermore, you are hereby stripped of rank and dishonorably discharged from service And request the following amendment: Quote:Effective immediately, your previous orders from Fleet Admiral Martin Kemp-Smith are rescinded. Furthermore, you are hereby stripped of your assignment with the 46th Fleet and released to the Secondary Fleet of Liberty Navy. I thank you in advance for a swift resolution. Blake Wayne Van Leer

Sender ID: FADM Martin Kemp-Smith Admiral Van Leer, I was wondering when this appeal would land at my desk. As you've taken the time to do so, and as you are fully aware, I am bound by the Forty-Sixth's Code of Conduct to address it in it's entirety. I, along with the rest of the Admiralty have reviewed your appeal and I will note our findings for you within this communication. You were summarily found to be guilt and charged to be in breach of the following articles:
Quote: I respect their decision of finding yours truly guilty of breaches of the above within the framework of 46th's internal regulations. I do not however believe these regulations are grounds for dismissal from Liberty Navy as a whole. In response to the above statement, you should be aware during your long-term tenure with the Fleet, that the above offences are all those deemed to be that of Gross Misconduct. Where you have broken three out of the seven of them, in a singular instance, as shown and highlighted below. Such offences, should they occur and be caught, in of themselves are grounds for immediate dismissal from the Fleet. Furthermore, you were sent a communication on 11/06/829 A.S, to which you replied, seemingly accepting of the dismissal as you used Secondary Fleet Access, according to the logs. Though, that's a moot point, but interesting, nonetheless. You are currently exercising your given right to appeal my decision to Dishonorably Discharge you from the fleet, per the appeals rights below: Unfortunately, as you are only sending your appeals communication on 01/07/829; a twenty day window has elapsed and I must remind you of the following clause: On the basis that your appeal has been submitted outside of the allotted seven day grace period, along with the nature of the offences and breaches of Conduct by a Senior Officer; a Commodore at the time. A Commodore whom I personally entrusted, along with the rest of the Admiralty, to lead the Forty-Sixth's Task Force against the Insurgency in Vespucci. To lead, encourage and inspire the Junior Officers that I placed under your command. Officers who put their lives in your hands and ordered follow the LNS Barbara Jacobi in to battle and emerge victorious. Even following your leave of absence from the Fleet and returning, where you requested command. You let me down. Check that, you let the men and women of the Fleet down. Your actions, in both mine and the Admiralty's opinion, were nothing short of reckless. Given your service record, former positive accomplishments and time in service, and out of what was a former respect of you, I negated the dismissal and approached the Admiralty to cast a vote. The vote had concluded earlier today after reviewing both the initial charges, the grounds for dismissal and your appeal. I must advise you that the vote was in a sixty percent majority against, thus the request to upgrade your dismissal from a Dishonorable Discharge, to be laterally transferred to the Secondary Fleet, is denied. I appreciate this will not be the result you were likely looking to achieve from your appeal. Having exercised my duty as Commanding Officer of the Fleet, along with the Admiralty, I shall deem this matter closed. Kemp, buddy, this is your only evidence against me? It appears you have become an Insurgency apologist, or worse. My orders in the Delaware offensive were this: I acted on direct orders of Admiral Dylan Brandt, who believed he had a mandate from Congress and even the President. What you call reckless we (who actually care about knocking of the Insurgents), call following orders. You also forgot this fact: Barbara.Jacobi has been the most successful vessel in the offensive. My vessel had to be patched up and we returned to battle - guess what. Those were my orders. Insurgency is now going to be defeated and it is because of the necessary sacrifices me and Admiral Dylan Brandt who paid the ultimate price paid. Quote:[01.05.2022 19:02:16] You receive a bonus of 5000000 credits and contributed 1 points. I will remind you that our vessels were disabled, and had to retreat 160 times in that offensive The Insurgency 100 times. They were at a home advantage so to speak. That we were forced to return for emergency repairs 22 times was well worth taking down the 13 ships, because now they are all but defeated. Given the Congress and the President whose orders Admiral Dylan Brandt followed and issued to yours truly during the offensive supersede your authority, I have hereby decided to deny your attempt to oust me from the Liberty Navy and the First Armada. Good luck, I consider this matter closed and behind us! Blake Wayne Van Leer
