The sole reason ALG declared war is because Karst doesn't understand how corporations work (no, this isn't an insult, this is simply pointing something out). He wanted and still wants direct conflict with Bretonia. In fact, if anything, the Devtonia thing is a hoax made up to just take advantage of the position of the story at the time.
tldr; people who have ooRP biases or whom don't understand their faction's positions should stay away from deciding story
