Libby Harrison Naval Officer

Libby Harrison is an Officer in the Liberty navy and her husband is Captain Mike Harrison of the Liberty Navy Gunboat LNS-Lincoln. She has very deep roots embedded within the Navy itself, and in particular the 46th Fleet, seeing as her father was the Fleet Admiral, James Horatio Creed.

Libby has vowed to try and find the actual flagship which was named Argonaute, which she has been told has not been scrapped yet but has been lying in dry dock ever since the demise of her father, due to mental illness and other health problems.

Mike has been making enquiries as to where the ship actually is, but so far there is no information about the vessel and its whereabouts. Once she is able to locate the vessel, it is her vow to work her way through the ranks of the Navy and one day to command the Argonaute and also keep its name, as it reminds her so much of her deceased father.

Her father passed away just recently on 27th August 829 and had a very private sending off from family and friends. Her father was well decorated in the Navy and was well liked, until he developed some mental and other health problems which compromised his ability to carry on his role in the Navy.

**All officers report to hangar deck 5 ... Incoming hostiles all vessels launch immediately**

Another day at the office, and all vessels were needed to launch due to a Rogue presence within Texas.

Mike was issued orders to assist the smaller vessels, and Libby was one of the vessels involved in the launch. Once in Texas it was a bit of a hard situation, as they had been misinformed about how many hostiles were present.
Libby and the other officers had to hug closely to the LNS-Lincoln for fire support, as the Rogues seriously outnumbered them. Mike hastily requested reinforcements to be assigned to the area and an assault Carrtier soon arrived launching multiple fighters to give support. Libby was finding the battle quite hard and ended up with two Rogues to deal with. She came out of it triumphant but her vessel was seriously damaged and needed to limp back to planet Houston until it could be patched up and back to the nearest shipyard.

All vessels were accounted for and made their way back to Norfolk for restock and repairs.

Once docked Libby met up with Mike and they were pleased the fight had gone their way, and everyone returned safely to Norfolk. Mike's personal terminal beeped and a message popped up.... "Mike meet me at Juneau Shipyard I have some good news for you".
Mike quickly kissed Libby and said he would be back soon, and went to meet his superior officer at Juneau to see what he had for him.

Libby made her way to the main hangar deck and climbed into her personal fighter (Each Naval pilot has their own personal fighter, just in case they come across any danger) and makes her way to Manhatten and to their apartment, which she shares with Mike and her cat Mabelle.

Mabelle greeted Libby as she entered the apartment and immediately meowed, obviously wanting some food, so Libby put out some food for her and decided to settle down till Mike arrived home and watched some T.V.

Today has been an awesome day,

I awoke early and made Mike his breakfast, as he was going on an early patrol apparently, which is very unusual. After he ate his breakfast we said goodbye and I would see him at work later maybe.
I continued to get myself ready for my duties today and also tidy up the apartment after we had had a takeaway last night.

Suddenly my personal terminal bleeped, it was Mike asking me to come into work early as there was a situation. Quickly grabbing my things, I rushed out of the apartment and down to the hangar where my ship was already prepared to depart. Once at Norfolk, I parked up the personal ship and proceeded to the briefing room.

Arriving in the Briefing room I saluted Mike's superior officer, and it was unusual because there were no other pilots there. Mike's superior officer informed me that I would be doing co-pilot job aboard Mikes Gunboat the LNS-Lincoln.
Well my heart started to race and the excitement was unbelievable, that I was being chosen to co-pilot on my husbands ship.
Mike informed me that it was quiet within Liberty so the patrol was more of a taster as to what I can expect whilst being in the co-pilot seat. We departed Norfolk after completing all the relevant flight checks before departure, and started a regular patrol of the system, and as Mike said it was very quiet.
There was nothing to report, just the fact that I enjoyed my short patrol on an impressive Gunboat and would love to one day command my own.

And after a short break I decided to take out my Havoc-II Bomber for a patrol, which again was uneventful, and I then ended the afternoon with some lunch and some training in the officers Gym and some flight simulations after that.

All in all a very good day for me..

After my food and also training in the Gym and flight simulations I decided to make my way back to the apartment and wait for Mike to come home, who was on an unusually long shift.
I arrived back at the apartment and decided to relax for a bit and chill out .......

Suddenly the apartment door flew open and mike had a wide smile on his face.. "We found her"...

I stood up and just stared at him "Argonaute"

Mike replied "YES"

I could not believe what I was hearing, and Mike proceeded to explain that Argonaute had been kept safe and sound in a dry dock by Norfolk Shipyard and was due to be used as a Museum piece, but he explained that we would need to contact the Admirals office and see if we could save her from the Museum.

This was a great development and Mike said he would use his influence to try and get his commanding officer to put some good words in at the Admirals office.

I was over the moon and we decided to go out for something to eat that evening and chill.

This has been another fantastic day.

After a good nights sleep and an excellent evening celebrating the fact we had found my fathers old Assault Carrier, I am now excited to actually go and see it for myself.
Mike had arranged for me to visit Norfolk and one of the Shipyard controllers would be able to show me. I gathered my things and decided to go for some breakfast then make my way to Norfolk. After I had my breakfast I proceeded to Norfolk where I was met by one of the contollers, who escorted me to where the ship was.

When we arrived I came over all emotional, it has not been long since my father passed, but obviously the ship has been in dry dock for so long. The controller opened the massive hangar door, it creaked and clanked as it opened because the hangars at the far end of Norfolk were never used anymore for operational ships.

"Woooow" .... There she was, hardly untouched and relatively stable looking by what I could see.

"Want to go take a closer look" The controller said.

"Y..yes please"

We boarded the ship, and it was absolutely huge, the hangar area was very empty but I could see that it could hold many vessels that could be launched quickly. We made our way through corridor after corridor and there was dust and cobwebs, but thankfully the ship seemed to be in really good condition. We entered the bridge control, and it was so big that you needed an army to control all of the terminals.

The controller showed me much more aboard the ship before we had to leave, and he had to lock up the hangar. It was so good to see her and also I was buzzing with excitement.

I arrived home and Mike was already there, with his superior officer. Mike explained that he had been promoted from Captain to Commodore, which was normally given for a special reason and he explained that due to his performances over the last 4 years it was decided to give him this special opportunity.

Also he had more news for me. I had been also promoted to Lieutenant and can now pick a ship to serve on.

"Now you are Lieutenant and I am Commodore, I have also been told I can pick any ship I want to command, So I have requested that you join me on my new command."

"So ... I have requested that Argonaute is recommissioned into the Navy once again, once we can get her ship shape"

I beamed with excitement and nearly hugged Mike's commanding officer by mistake, this was so so exciting. Once we had calmed down Mike's commanding officer told us that the recommissioning would commence immediately, and Mike would have all the resources he needs to get her back into space.

Well after all that we decided to go back to the apartment and celebrate with a takeaway and a few drinks.

My life is now starting to come together, and being able to do my duty aboard my fathers old ship is such an honor.

It had been a while since we had found Argonaute, and Mike was working closely with the chaps at Norfolk to make sure she is presentable for her re-commissioning.
As I was sitting thinking ....

I decided that it was time to leave behind my secondary fleet friends and persue a more comprehensive role within the realms of the primary fleets. I must study which particular one that I would like to join.

I have considered the 46th Fleet, but I would doubt my father, god rest his soul, would really approve of that. So it seems that I am torn between the 5th Fleet and the 1st Armada.

I decided to get an early night and sleep on it........

The door bursts open and Mike has an announcement to make .... again. The Argonaute is fully finished and ready for a run out, so I suggest we get our shifts done this week and make a voyage around New York. So we both decided on an early night and get our sleep for our shift tomorrow, and also for me to decide....

It has been months since myself and Mike had moved on our seperate ways.

I am still in posession of my Fathers former flagship the Argonaute, and she lies within a secret hiding place that I moved her to after I seperated from Mike.

My life has changed now and I have been allowed to step down from the Liberty Navy and go and live my life as I see fit. Argonaute will stay within her secret hideaway as long as I am still breathing and able to hold onto her.
My mother who was born within the Core settlements in the Omicrons has made her way back there, and since my Father died it has been hard for her to stay in Liberty.

Myself ... I need to think about my next move and how I am going to make a living, maybe I will move and join my Mother, which would be the logical move seeing as I am half Libertonian and half Core origin.

We will see ......

After much thought, it has been decided by myself, that I shall join my Mother in the Omicrons and will endeavour to seek employment within that region.
I am sure that, with my combat and Naval experience, that it should not be hard to make a steady income so that I can help my Mother to live a very decent life in the Omicrons.

I will pack tomorrow for the journey, and will say farewell to Liberty for good, and seek out my new employment endeavour and decide what I shall do.

Sitting at my desk in my flat...

I have decided to apply to join the Core, it has always fascinated me about their vessels and how powerful these are. I think my training I received from the Navy will come in handy in some way, and I will also have to learn new things and also how the Core operates.

Every day has been either uphill or downhill since my Father, bless his soul, actually died, and also for the time being I will hold onto his old Liberty Navy ship and keep it tucked away in hiding, until one day I may be able to make some use of her.

But for now, I will concentrate on my application for the Core..

I decided to redact my application for the Core.

I have been in the Omicrons for a short while and have decided to make my way to a new location, and the possibility of new adventures and such.

My life is confusing at the moment with everything going on and also the passing of my late father, and deciding to leave the Omicrons is a better move for me.
Maybe I will start fresh and see what I can come up with. You never know I might even make my fortune...... maybe.

So .. my first trip around Sirius has been to New Tokyo, and then onward to New York. Not many pilots were visible on radar but my personal ship, which is a Montante Gunship has performed reasonably well so far.
My first initial steps are to do some recon within various regions of Sirius and anticipate my next moves and my future plans for myself and any friends I may come across to help me in my operations.
Operations will be classified for the time being and I will not be revealing too much to anyone that I encounter along the way. So over the next few months, my goals are to establish any friends and enemies that could be either useful, or relevant for me to stay clear of.

So for now this will be my goal.
