Greetings to my Corsair friends on Gran Canaria. My name is James Samuel Mulligan, you might've had some dealings with me during my Junker Congress days. Back then I was known as "J Smugg". Well now I'm an independent Junker which specializes in Scrap, Toxic Waste, Premium Scrap, and Military Salvage. We've heard through the grapevine that you might be in need of some Premium Scrap, Scrap, and/or Military Salvage on your small fledgling colony at Gran Canaria. Well, we're here to provide.

We've already delivered one haul of Premium Scrap to the surface (at cost) for your people to utilize as they see fit. We had to shuttle down the cargo utilizing one of our haulers but it should be on the surface now for you to use. If you're interested in more (or other items), please let us know. We can arrange a contract of some kind if this suits your fancy and would benefit us as well for the long flight from Liberty to Omega-48. Additionally, it may be better in the future to deliver the cargo to Tripoli Shipyards in Omicron Gamma if possible. Utilizing our shuttle to ferry down the cargo took quite a lot of time.

Let us know if you'd be interested in working together, we will await your response.

Saludos, Senor Mulligan.

I have to admit I don't personally recall hearing about your past exploits as a member of Congress, but it hardly seems important at the moment. I offer thanks and additional pay should you be able to provide further shipments, as Junkers do not have a reputation for altruists, no offence intended.

I have heard from the New Olynthos' elders about your shipments, and while we appreciate the help, I'm afraid that the colony as it stands now has rather limited use for unprocessed scrap, even that of Premium quality. Reason being, the colony is still building up, and is severely lacking in any industrial capacity, needed to properly process the goods. You are therefore correct in assuming that it would be easier and more beneficial for both of our parties to have the goods moved to our primary Scrap Processing facility of Tripoly, where we can fabricate ready-to-use components to be shipped to Olynthos at a later date.

As far as I'm aware, Tripoly quartermasters already pay a hefty sum for deliveries of Scrap, but I can set aside a budget for premium bonuses, for premium quality goods, additional 2.5k creditos per unit delivered. If there is something else you'd rather request, let me hear it and I'll see what can be done about it.

Message end.

It's wonderful to hear from you Administrator.

I appreciate you getting back to us. Sorry for the delay on my part, it's been a rather hectic few weeks for us here out in the scrap fields. Turns out one of our boys found an old nuclear mine out in an abandoned frigate and inadvertently triggered it. Needless to say, we've been cleaning what's left of him off the side of our hull. We took some damage in the process which left us out of the game for a few weeks. Although, you can't keep a good Junker down--we're back up and operational as of a few hours ago.

While we're Junkers on the exterior, we're more of...businessmen than true Junkers. We do still traffic illicit goods if the pay is good enough, but generally shy away from that line of work and focus more on scrap and other items. There are many others who only see us as Junkers instead of true businessmen but that's their loss and our gain. Our other Junker brothers might not be "altruists" as you say, but where we see an opportunity for business and money making, we jump at the opportunity.

We'll begin routing shipments to your shipyard in Gamma then since it sounds like it's a better option for all parties involved. I wanted to make sure I've got clearance to enter Gamma before making regular shipments down there. Wouldn't want to endanger a new friendship out of the gate before getting the requisite permissions you know. Concerning payment, some of our other boys that've made shipments there in the past tell me that what they got was more than adequate. However, if you're feeling generous, then any additional credits can be routed to the Anamnesis once deliveries are made. I'll let you come up with the extra amount that you feel comfortable with. I can inform you when we've made deliveries to Tripoli and we can go from there.

Lastly, we do have some future plans of building a refinery somewhere in Bering or closer to Gamma in the coming months. Nothing has been set in stone, but if we do decide to go this route, we will consider you as prime customers for this refined material so that all you would need to do from Tripoli is deliver the materials without the necessary need to refine the materials we drop off to your shipyards.

Let me know what you'd like to do, Senor Galatas, and we would be happy to lend a hand so long as the business is lucrative for the both of us.

Senor Mulligan,

Friends of El Imperio need no clearance to enter Gamma, unless they plan to bring along a warship *laughs*. That said, if you run into some... overly enthusiastic Hermanos demanding tribute, please go along with their demands, within reason of course and let me know and I'll reimburse any costs-of-business you may end up with, and handle the matter on our end. Alternatively you could let us know the exact time you and yours will be arriving so we can properly escort them.

As for a new refinery, it sounds like an interesting idea, and something I'll be very interested in hearing about in the future. While I doubt we would be able to assist in constructing it so far from our typical areas of operations, we could reach out to our Unioner allies on your behalf. I leave the decision up to you.

Message end.

Outstanding! I'm currently in route to your shipyards in Tripoli with a haul of Premium Scrap. You should expect delivery shortly. Barring any extenuating circumstances that is.

Concerning our planned refinery in Bering, assistance from the Unioners would of course be welcomed. With their background(s) in engineering, no doubt assistance from their crew would be appreciated and would give us an edge to getting up and operational in a timely manner. Additionally, we've been scouting Bering for a suitable location to build this refiner and it is actually within viewing distance of Pacifica Base. I feel that introductions should be in order to prevent any misunderstandings between myself and my people and our soon to be (hopeful) neighbors in the region. Thank you for that suggestion, Senor Galatas. A most excellent idea.

We will append this message once delivery of the second haul of Premium Scrap has successfully reached your doorstep.

/appendmsg

We've arrived at Tripoli Shipyard and delivered the cargo to your folks onboard. See attachment! From here we'll continue to bring hauls to Tripoli and will inform you if we run into any issues along the way in this open transmission.
