JUNKER AMBASSADOR - Junker - 04-19-2009
It was just a few short months ago that Arbiter Vladimir Tinkerbell of the Junker Congress resigned his post as head of the movement stating at the time, "To be a truly democratic and free organization to help all Junkers, other Junkers must now have a say in its future."
Rumors stated that he had returned to his exploration and study of the Puerto Rican "Rift" anomaly but it was recently announced by now Ambassador Tinkerbell that he was in fact exploring the system known now as Gallia. In his tenure as arbiter, Congress founder Tinkerbell developed the "Library of Congress"--a collection of family histories, oral and recorded lore, art, technological, historical and social events in Junker society as well as records of Junker exploration and encounters throughout Sirius. In developing the library, Founder Tinkerbell met (through then Deputy Arbiter) Oniros the Junker Adelei Nisaka--designer of the "Recycler" bomber. Adelei Niska's family was one of the few Junker families which continued in the service of Gallia over the generations of Junker isolation outside Gallic space. Junker Niska revealed to Founder Tinkerbell the existence of Gallia and when he presented it to then Deputy-Arbiter Oniros, the deputy Arbiter confirmed that his household too was in such service to the monarchy. Junker Oniros has been missing for several months and many now speculate that the opening of Gallia's minefields caused him to return to the Gallic systems.
In a recent closed session of the Junker Congress, Junker Guards and Congress members approved the diplomatic credentials of now Ambassador Vladimir Tinkerbell who will serve as a Junker Diplomatic envoy to Gallia representing the interests of parties here in the "lowlands" (what they call non-Gallic space). Ambassador Tinkerbell's independent mission is to gain political support throughout all of Gallic and non-Gallic space for an effort to develop a common stand against the alien species the "Nomads" and their proxies, "The Wild".
Rumors exist of a current new ship design that has not yet been seen in Sirius and suggest Ambassador Tinkerbell is overseeing the construction of one in the Puerto Rico system. The JNN could not get Ambassador Tinkerbell, the Junker Congress or Junker guards to confirm or deny this rumor and we will provide more information as we receive it.
Currently Ambassador Tinkerbell is asking for formal recognition of his diplomatic credentials from all factions who see the Nomad-Wild as a threat and he will be monitoring his private comms and all diplomatic channels for such communiques. he is of course available to meet and explain his mission and goals to any interested parties wiling to guarantee safe passage for his vessel--a "Commerce" class Zoner gunboat.
This diplomatic flagship was threatened and pursued in Liberty by the LPI last night for carrying cardamine and other substances but the vessel's captain explained these were part of their scientific presentation in the their diplomatic mission. Liberty's response so far has been to throw about the usual accusation of "another Junker criminal" and has declared Ambassador Tinkerbell's ship "criminal". In an interview today, Ambassador Tinkerbell was asked about this incident and said that the Liberty government refused to accept his diplomatic status or meet to discuss it and had fired repeatedly on his vessel. He asks that any business partners of the Junkers who would be willing to support the diplomatic mission contact him for possible escort when in Liberty space. Ambassador Tinkerbell further stated that, "I will of course be as open and nonjudgmental in who we cooperate with as Junkers have always been. Any group extending recognition of the diplomatic credentials of this vessel is extended the full hand of respect and cooperation by myself and the Junker Congress."
In addition to his ambassadorial credentials, Ambassador Tinkerbell carries the permanent title of "Founder" in the Junker Congress and a "for-life" honorary position in its political membership. His emphasizes however that his current diplomatic mission is an independent effort.
