Hey guys, I need to find out how to contact the creators of some of the ships in disco. To try and ask for permission to use some of them for a mod I'm attempting to put together. Does anyone know of a link of the forums...a list of creators in the game and how to contact the people or, pretty much anything else you think might help? I'm still groaning and moaning through trying to learn Gmax and actually create smooth, textured ships...but its a long learning process so far.

All ships in discovery have their creators names listed next to them in the mod credits, which is a text file included with the mod.
Most are made by:
-Jinx
-Yue Fei
-Dreygon
-Eppy
However, you will need to, as I said, check the mod credits.

Excellent. I'll check it out when ever I get alittle farther on the mod. Gotten 5 new factions and working on the planned 30 system adds to vanilla.
And how do you mod the ai to use bats and bots? Any idea on that one?

Is your mod going to have a server or is it just for personal use. I just was wondering and also the makers of the ships might want to know too.

Aye, personal use for right now. Hopefully when we get everything tweaked out, we can take it public but Not at this time. This was why I was wondering. I love (and have done alittle) tweaking out some of the disco ships and just having a good time but even if this thing is for personal, with us wanting to take it public (mabey) someday. I need to know what I could use or not. Didn't want to build the whole thing to a marvelous (in my idea) creation, just to realize I have to go back and remove half the ships on the roster.
