I would like to rely on behalf of the Directorate to thank you for your assistance recently with some rabid Crayter personnel who sought to terrorise our homeland. Unfortunately, Crayter seems to lack understanding that we do not wish for them to encroach upon our home. Even more drastically so, it seems that they have been indoctrinated to believe that the Independent World need to be 'cleansed' - such radicalised minds seem to be persisting within their Republic. Of course, you may recall the incident of Aland, we have reasons to believe that the Independent Miners Guild colonies are also in such danger of their ambitious conquest, due to their lack of funding to inevitably pay off Liberty debts. We would like to take the opportunity to further increase collaboration with like-minded groups and organisations in order to prevent such tragedy from happening again - confidential meetings will be required to discuss the situation at hand with the other residents of the sector. I would like to inquire upon your current relations with the Mollys and the Hessians? And how are you with other corporates such as OS&C, Kishiro, and the Gallic Corporations? And what of the Insurgency? MESSAGE ENDED ...transmission complete

Director Richter here.
I will be honest, I won't pretend to understand the motivations of the Crayter "Republic". For an entity originally so prideful and defensive of their independence from the houses, they seem to have become rather cozy with them and simultaneously rather hostile towards others establishing themselves independently. I can't speak for the Independent Miners Guild, but if I were them I would have major security concerns over some of their Barrier region assets, especially Pecos. Now whatever the cause of Crayter's reversal of policy, we won't hesitate to assist you in your defensive efforts, although as you know our ability to do so is going to be pretty limited. As for your questions about our relations, I'll go through them briefly. With the Mollys, we've traditionally had two types of encounters, when operating in Dublin alongside the IMG, in which case they were cautiously friendly, and when our ships were alone, when they were generally less so. Since the Aland crisis, when we fought alongside them against the Kingdom of Bretonia, we've had some tentative talks and suggestions of cooperation, although distance and lack of common economic activity has so far meant little came of them. Our relations with the Red Hessians are complicated, but I'll try to summarize them briefly. We've never had held any outright hostility, and certain common diplomatic interests led to a gradual warming of relations in the last decade and a formal ceasefire. During the civil war, we tried to get them on board with the democratic side officially, but were frustrated by their lack of willingness to cooperate and their reckless actions in Cologne. We consider them unreliable and have not since pursued closer relations; I would describe them as coldly neutral. We have no relations of significance beyond cordial neutrality with the other mentioned corporations, except with EFL Oil & Machinery, with whom we have enjoyed longstanding and fruitful business ties, although they have cooled slightly due to competition over scrapping rights after the Kusari-Gallia war. Given our scrapping activity in southern Liberty, we have had sporadic contact with the Liberty Insurgency, and have on occasion provided them with logistical and technical support. I hope that's a satisfactory summary. DISPLAYING MESSAGE Direct conflict may not be necessarily needed, but we do have a few projects - as you may remember - that are outstanding that of which directly contribute to our fleet defences. The Independent Miners Guild has agreed to setting up traps with the Inverness borders for any large scale invasion. Perhaps your experience with Aland and the Rheinland civil war may have some insight to these capital traps? And I hope our previous offer was not forgotten. It is not a light offer. As for the relations, the Mollys is a peculiar situation. Usually they are more than happy enough to establish economic routes with their gold, but it appears they have been less than talkative as of the late. The purpose behind inquiring behind these relations is both to make an understanding during potential evacuation to fall back to Cologne, as well as exploration of commercial strengthening to undermine both Liberty and Crayter "Republics" and Bretonian tariffs in the Coronado-Tau sectors. Perhaps it may be of interest to see what you can learn about the Independent Miners Guild stance to the Crayter problem? We are willing to assist them, but we cannot allow our existance to be threatened. Did the IMG know about their plans to train right above Pecos and simulate 'invasions'? Regarding this conflict, we have a fallback plan to rendezvous assets between Cologne and Omega-58, in the event of drastic outcomes. The problem within such, is obviously gaining refugee exemption for the capital assets, including the unfinished projects, from either Gallia or Rheinland. This is only a last case scenario in which we need to adapt to a nomadic lifestyle. It shouldn't need to come to such if the current preparations are augmented heavily. Our few home advantages is the environment and our technological edge, as well as previous preparation. We've projected their instability years ago, and despite the many years of preparation, there will never be enough to ensure that no life would be lost... Such is the tragedy of conflict. There is another problem, particularly with the Insurgency, which I have no doubt you have heard of. The refugee crisis. We have previously witnessed Crayter and Bretonian vessels take them directly to the Newcastle system or Yuma. It has been within our interests to ensure these individuals do not end up within the mandatory military or industrial services of these groups. Do you perhaps know of any runners who may ensure these people may safely arrive at the Citadel for safe passage? We should speak more in person as the situation is highly complicated. Feel free to visit us. Your... Order compatriots cannot board the Citadel or be permitted to see the docks due to security reasons, for reasons that need not be explained.... There is a plan I have in mind that will require technological collaboration. Jamming, on a large scale. It may require unsavoury favours from less than reputable groups such as the Lane Hackers, but, that is why I asked of your relations to EFL. They can provide that insight. And we can provide commercial incentive. MESSAGE ENDED ...transmission complete
