[Concluded Event] RM/UN/HRZ: A routine prisoner transfer | Jan 15th, 5:00PM UTC - Barrier - 12-23-2022
A pro-Rheinwehr faction within the administration of Vierlande Prison became aware of an opportunity to extradite a number of its high-profile members to New Berlin. After mixing in with various other dissidents, slated for "re-education" camps, a routine prisoner transfer is to go off-course to be escorted by hand-picked members of the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr deeper into Rheinland space. In order to forestall inevitable rumors which often result in leaks, the admiral in command of the Hamburg fleet has designated only a handful of pilots for this operation. Unbeknownst to the admiral, the Unioner Direktorat is already aware that a defection operation is in its final stages of fruition. The Vierlande administration has been alerted, and achieving the element of surprise is nearly impossible. A coded message to Krefeld is enough to gather a force of sufficient strength to pursue the separatists.
Moreover, the Red Hessian Army is ever vigilant to rapidly developing opportunities. With well-placed informers throughout their area of influence, an intelligence pay-off is rather inevitable. However, the RHA command is not particularly willing to risk pilots on what could still prove to be a routine prisoner exchange. Still, with new ambitious groups always willing to improve relations with arguably the biggest organized crime operation in Rheinland, there will never be a lack of volunteers for this particular mission. Especially considering the singular rumor of a substantial amount of bribe money which the separatists have brought along with them onto the transport.
Combat Area & Disposition

The RM squad will rendezvous with the prisoner transport near the Cologne jump hole in Hamburg, and proceed to jump. At the same time, the HRZ strike team will make haste towards Cologne for Ithaca, and proceed to scout potential approaches of the transport to New Berlin. Meanwhile, the Unioner pursuit group will depart Krefeld, hot on the heels of the rogue prisoner transport. Due to a minor drive malfunction, the transport will need a minute post-cruising to overcharge its jump drive before jumping into a system. Additionally, one of the prisoners has a hidden transmitter which is able to give away their precise location, and will use it after learning about what happened.
Will either of the search parties manage to detect the transport? Will the RM commander manage to convince the Unioners that the prisoners should remain in their hands rather than being handed over to the HRZ? Will hot plasma be the preferred form of communication for all parties?

Rules
- The event ends if the transport lands on planet New Berlin, a Unioner or Red Hessian base (or Ithaca), or is destroyed. The fighters can continue combat or disengage once this occurs
- The RM start near the Cologne jump hole in Hamburg, and must use Cologne, and then either Dresden or Stuttgart to reach New Berlin
- The Unioners start at Krefeld and must wait 3 minutes after the start of the event before undocking, and then try to track the RM force
- The HRZ start at Ithaca and must proceed into Cologne after the event begins (via Stuttgart or Dresden after Omega-11). It's up to the group leader how they will prevent the transport from reaching New Berlin
- Avoid going too far above or below the plane.
- The transport player must wait for one minute after cruising before being able to jump (time starts when your energy bar starts regenerating, designating that you're out of cruise mode).
- At one point during the event, the transport player must send out a system-wide message which includes its exact location on the map(do this while in Cologne, Stuttgart, or Dresden).
- No cloaking.
- No docking / repairs / rearming.
