I've been told that many people complains when they are attacked by phantoms... People that is surprised when phantoms fire on them without warning..
Well, the reason they do that is because they are terrorists... They are obliged to do that because their RP status. And supposed to do so.
They are now thinking to leave the game because everything they got is complaining for doing what they are supposed to do. And that is not good. It would be like if people complained of AW because they took a job to kill traders... They are supposed to do that because they were paid to do so...
I'm asking you to think before you complain or name call them. If they kill you on sight, it's because they are obliged to do that because their RP status.

that doesnt make sence. i myself acualy stop brething when i see a phantom enter my sencors because i KNOW they WILL kill me given the chance. the fact that other people cant seem to grasp that fact is sort of sad on their part. i also belive it wold be EXTREEMLY boring if the phantoms left so i plead to you to ignor them and let them know why if they as, if they continue to comlain i garuntee you it will fall on deaf ears.

At least they have, had, the fun of attacking and getting attacked by Phantoms.. They won't even attack me anymore. *Cries*
I'm sure some won't care, or be glad they don't have to deal with the phantoms anymore. Well those people are here just to have it easy. Trust me, the Phantoms are AW's only enemy at the moment. We get bored alot waiting for something to happen in Theta. But even though they can be a pain sometimes they are fun to fight, most are good, nice, people. It takes away the simple bland FL multiplayer by adding someone like them in.
I, for one, am not happy that they have "Gone to ground." But this is not caused by their choice, but by those who influenced their choice. In this case, that would be the ones who are complaining about some attacks. Yeah, if they are harassing you and won't leave you alone after the 4th, 5th kill and you've told them to stop, THEN get mad at them. But simply getting mad because you lost a few times is stupid. Without enemies, FL gets boring.
If people can't find out Phantoms are terrorists, they need to get on forums and READ. And if they can't handle the stress of getting attacked by them, they shouldn't be playing violent games. Anyone who can't stand losing things when killed by Phantoms would commit suicide on EVE. Heck, you die there, you lose EVERYTHING. On FL, all you lose is any ammo and loose equipment you might be carrying. And be sent back to the last base. FL has it easy. You die, no big deal. So I want to know why its such a big deal to die to the Phantoms?

you know, i read that forum and i thought it must be like day-ja-vu for you guys. because that is the verry problim people are complaining about now only now people arnt willing to do anything about it. we still need you guys. you are the only ones who ceep me on my toes and the only ones i can count on to try and atack me. althow i have to say you havent done a verry good job of it sence the only person who has atacked me was Dab a verry long time ago back when i was the RTC for the RM. some how i have managed to avoid almost all pvp battle and i havent even tried. i whant hope that my luck will NOT contiue, i am geting realy bored.
Wait i whant to infasise this, DAB IS THE ONLY ONE TO OF ATACKED ME EVER!!!

Theres a large part of my roleplay vanished ... I have been priviledged to be member
of the Phantoms since March, and in that time we grew to big, mainly because people
thought it was just cool to have the tag without the roleplay, and the usual, *I just want
to kill people for no reason* group. We got downsized big time after the player wipe
with a view to tightening up the faction again, and continuing our very strict roleplay
parameters.
Basically, its nothing personal, its our RP to hunt you down and attempt to kill you. This we
do quite successfully most of the time, with good forward planning and covering our asses
well. And a good communication network.
There are a shed load of wasted Battleships sitting out there, posturing around home systems
and doing bugger all. Our job is to kill em off. Defend your places guys, don't whinge when
you are caught with your pants round your ankles. Learn to fly the bloody things.
We did ...
And for future reference, we only had one battleship in the whole fleet, and thats an Osiris,
damn good one mind you. And only one bomber, thats mine. A couple of cruisers and a few
fighters. All thoughtfully armed, and reasonably well flown.
But roleplayed to the full extent of the server. Nothing is wasted.
And mainly, a lot of effort to make it all work. I hope its not been wasted.

@ general naka: if your on about your trader being able to fly unhindered by a phantom it's because I gave up doing what I always had as bloodfrenzy.
Which was attacking traders, blockading or altering trade routes for a while and pulling defending units out of position, because I got fed up with the incessant complaints about how a terrorist ALWAYS attacks the military and leaves the civilians alone...
Yeah right, post the proof of just one real life terrorist group that has NEVER hit a civilian target, good luck on that by the way cos I seriously doubt that there is one.
I also got fed up with lawful players whinging and moaning about being outgunned or out-numbered and refusing to fight, yet a lone phantom fighter is suppose to HAVE to go up against a pair of BS's.
Either play as you expect others to play or don't bother, I will not and have not ever taken my phantom character up against any other player who I was sure I could not beat, or who I was sure would vape me without trying.
Besides which I'm not going to stupidly fight a BS alone just you can claim the 'glory' of a phantom kill.
If we go active again I hope (but seriously doubt) that anyone who goes up against my phantom characters will use ships that I have a decent chance of fighting.
Unlike recently when people use a ship they know I have no chance of damaging before being destroyed.
If you want easy kills go fight the NPCs or go hunt players below lvl 40.

O.o Almost every terrorist organization attacks more civilians than military..
In FL, the only one who doesn't are the Bundschuh, because they get funding from some people on New Berlin.
I'm pretty sure terrorists attack MOSTLY civilians..
I know I complained about how you ONLY attacked Civilians. If thats what you were referring to, I in no way meant only military targets. I was saying, that though civilian targets are good, you need, and should, attack some military ships.
But that doesn't mean ONLY military. GC could be considered terrorists, and they attack alot of civilian companies and civilian ships, and then police. With very little attacking of the Kusari Navy. Mostly Civs and Police.
