Screenshot Contest - Final Choice - Igiss - 12-05-2006
I apologize for taking too long to manage the screenshot contest thingie. Procedure of vote was probably the most doubtful one, since there were alot of very different screenshots and alot of participants.
Therefore, I've taken responsibility for choosing the best 11 screenshots taken by different people. Not everyone is presented here, but there are limitations on how long a poll post can be. In addition to that, I included both action and 'peaceful' screenshots in one voting. There will be 5 winners, each of them getting a certain prize. 150 million for the first place, like I promised before.
If someone will refuse to/be unable to take the prize, it will go to the next competitor, and so on.

I was quite torn between both DO's dynamic shot and Stingray's ethereal Osiris, but I came to the conclusion this contest is all about Discovery, and when I think Discovery I think action and interaction, which marauder's shot embodies. Congrats marauder, you got my vote :0)

I think Nemik's definitely stands out.
I think that I like it so much because it is pretty action based, but you can still identify the features of the photo.
One other really nice thing is that it follows the rule of thirds, with the main part of the explosion near that line.

Ooh... nemik's picture is cool. But didn't Angel have more pictures? I remember one of... some Rheinland cap-ship that was eclipsing a star... that was a good one. In fact, everyone had more than one picture! I think that they should all be posted here, or at least have links to them all.
