OVERVIEW

Seeking to maximize its investments in the Planet Tomioka, Samura Industries managed to find a market for the furs of indigenous creatures found there and has established a trade route delivering to a Freelancer station seeking to make its own fortunes on this product through great volume purchases. Returning ships have been told to pickup Fertilizers from Frankfurt as a further way to spur great yields of Planet Tomioka's bounty.

Increased regular activities of Samura is expected to attract all kinds of attention from its enemies, specifically the Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums, who are always on the look out for choice targets of opportunity. Large transport convoys full of premium cargo definitely qualify as a justifiable target to score one against those who oppose their causes.

Knowing this conflict is always simmering and looking to increase pressure on these unlawfuls seeking to disrupt the flow of goods, Samura has advised their contacts in the Farmer's Alliance that Blood Dragon and Golden Chrysanthemums interception is now rewarded with additional financial support.


Event Duration:

Mar 14th(after scheduled restart) to Mar 19th

Event Objectives:

Samura Industries ID/IFF Traders:
  • Purchase Furs at Planet Tomioka, Tottori.
  • Sell Furs at New Port Station, Sigma-13, for regular payment with an additional event bonus.
  • Purchase Fertilizers at Planet Holstein, Frankfurt.
  • Sell Fertilizers at Planet Tomioka, Tottori, for regular payment with an additional event bonus.

Escorts / Military:
  • 10,000,000cr bounties for Kusari Naval Forces (KNF) and Kusari State Police (KSP) against Blood Dragons, Golden Chrysanthemums, and Farmer's Alliance in Kusari Regions, including border areas of route.
  • 15,000,000cr bounties for Samura escorts against Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums in Kusari Regions, including border areas of route.

Unlawfuls:
  • 10,000,000cr bounties for Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums against Samura, KNF, KSP, and Farmer's Alliance in Kusari Regions, including border areas of route.
  • 10,000,000cr bounties for Farmer's Alliance against Blood Dragons, Golden Chrysanthemums, KNF, and KSP in Kusari Regions, including border areas of route.

NOTES

This event is intended to spur activity in the region and for the associated factions. Just because a faction doesn't get a bonus, doesn't exclude them from participating with their roles.
Higher Escort bonus is intended to increase use of convoy escorts. Traders should be paying these escorts for their support.

Hogosha will have its day in future events.

6 different factions already involved in this one event.
There's nothing saying others can't interact within their roles with those factions used for this event. In fact, it is encouraged, as activity is the whole purpose on creating such events.

My hope with events going forward is to make them frequent but not overwhelming to produce. To do so, limits must be imposed and some groups that maybe could have been included may not be.

I'm hoping the standard "Is there anything happening in Disco this week" will soon be replaced by "What new events are taking place in Disco this week?".
