John Trade's Samura adventure - Czechmate - 03-19-2023

Well, howdy y'all. My name's John Trade, and I used to work for Universal Shipping. But when times got tough, I took a Samura Contract hauling furs from Tottori to Sigma-13 up in Kusari. And let me tell you, it was a ride. Apparently, these folks like to wear fur coats to keep warm, even though they're livin' in a space station. That's just plain weird, if you ask me.

So there I was, haulin' a bunch of furs across Kusari. The trip was long and boring, but I had my trusty banjo to keep me company. I even wrote a song about them furs, it went somethin' like this: "Fur coats in space, what a crazy place, gotta make a buck, even if it's weird as f--k." When I finally arrived at Sigma-13, I was in for a surprise. Them Sigma folks had a whole ceremony planned for me, complete with bowin' and offerin' me some weird lookin' tea. I don't know what was in that stuff, but it had me feelin' like I was walkin' on the moon. But the real kicker was when they showed me their fur coats. They had 'em lined up on display like they were some kinda fancy art exhibit. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw 'em. I mean, who wears fur coats in space? They're just askin' for trouble with all them space rocks and meteorites flyin' around.

Anyway, I did my job, got paid, met some friends like the Bronze.Swan kusari lady and got the heck outta there. I'll never forget my time haulin' them furs across Kusari. It was a weird experience, but I made some good money outta the deal. And who knows, maybe I'll write another song about it one day. "Fur coats in space, what a disgrace, gotta make a living, even if it's unforgiving."
