Civilian Heroes Rise - Vulgrimn Crew and Azimuth granted the Medal of Valor
When the conventional fleets are on far-away assignments and where the First Armada is crumbling under the pressure of Liberty's enemies and all seems lost, a glimmer of light rises. And that glimmer is the civilian populace of Liberty. For such occasions, the First Armada is issuing the "Medal of Valor" that is granted to those civilians who refuse to look the other way, who risk their lives to protect our values, who decide to safeguard Liberty.
Manhattan Under Siege
Today Manhattan was under siege by the Outcast and Rogue Warships. The defense grid crumbled, and the First Armada was overwhelmed and all but beaten. Manhattan's children were soon to be left at the mercy of the savages when the lone mercenary vessel Vulgrimn and Ageira's Azimuth stepped up. "Well, this is my fight to you know, I am here for the feel man! Besides, even if I do blow up, the crew can tell all of our stories." - Vulgrimn's leader.
It was them who defeated the warships and struck the final blows. They are the ones who protected Manhattan and those who can tell their children and grandchildren they have earned the Medal of Valor of Liberty, and 50,000,000 each. We salute these heroes who go above and beyond their civilian duty to safeguard what Liberty stands for when we at the front lines are overwhelmed.
