To: BAF Admiralty Board - Fab - 06-11-2023 ENCRYPTION: TOP SECRET SENDER: Victor Callotis SOURCE: Fort Bush RECIPIENT: Armed Forces Admiralty Board SUBJECT: Crecy hull acquisition Esteemed admirals, Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Victor Callotis, a cruiser captain in the service of the Liberty Navy. I write this message today to question about the possibility of the acquisition of a "Crecy"-class destroyer hull from the armed forces' inventory. I noticed that the navy does possess a few registered Crecy-class hulls on its own inventory. The admirals might ask why such request when the Navy produces its own cruiser, the Archer-class. As I explained to our own chain-of-command, the archer class is a vessel best fitted to fight warships of larger size, and does not properly the fit the operational gap we need during our patrols against nimble gunboats, light cruisers and destroyers coming from pirates. With such in mind, I formally request the transfer of a destroyer hull to be placed under the command of me and my crew to best protect liberty's national security. Such hull can be mothballed or deactivated, and I ask the admiralty to not route any hulls from active duty in order to not disrupt the armed forces' own security operations. Given that both forces have collaborated in the past, the adaptation and fabrication of any spare or replacement parts can be done with relative ease. That's all. This channel will remain open for any questions. Thanks for the attention, admirals. Callotis - Crewman - 1st Armada

I trust you understand this. I reviewed your request and I am afraid you will need to forward it to the ministry of defense. While I am in operational command of the active assets of the Bretonian Armed Forces, the commissioning and decommissioning of ships is a matter in the hands of the ministry. I would assume the ships remain under their jurisdiction after decommissioning, too, but that is a matter I am not intimately familiar with. I hope this information will prove helpful to you. yours sincerely Sir Jacob McIntire RE: To: BAF Admiralty Board - Fab - 06-14-2023 ENCRYPTION: TOP SECRET SENDER: Victor Callotis SOURCE: Fort Bush RECIPIENT: Admiral Sir Jacob McIntire SUBJECT: Crecy hull acquisition Distinguished Admiral Sir Jacob, A transfer of power and responsibility of such high rank official is no doubt a source for delays and rethinking of priorities, I understand. Given that, I thank you vehemently for looking into my request during this time. I congratulate you on your new position, Admiral. I will forward this matter to the Ministry of Defense as required. Again, my sincere thanks for your attention. Callotis - Crewman - 1st Armada
