Hello, Doc.
Is this the right address? I digged through some of the Zoner communications to find your neuralnet address. Are you Doc Holliday? The Zoner ambassador? I heard you were talking with the government. What came out of it?
I almost forgot to introduce ourselves. I'm the captain of the Q-ship Freedom's Shield. After hearing the imminent attack on our birthplace and home, Erie, we rushed to the Omicrons and back with this warship. We fought on the battle above Erie. I saw some of your own going down, if you're the Holliday I'm thinking about. We're sorry for your loss. We've all lost someone we known that battle, I suppose. Liberty apparently doesn't gives a single damn about medical ships.
Please, gives us some info. No one knows what to do.

Good Morning, Captain,
You dig well, my friend. I am Dr. John Holliday and at the moment, I am doing well here on the surface. I could retire here if I wanted and have fresh meat and fish each day if I chose to but that is not this day.
Erie is not my birthplace but I do own a sizeable chunk of land that includes a lake that I purposely bought to leave unspoiled, to preserve the planet as it was found if you will. But yes, during the attack, we lost people as well and my escort pilot was also shot down. He never even got off a shot nor did he see it coming. He is OK and back in the cockpit but yes, we all lost someone that awful day.
Right now, Zoner communities seem to be going on with "business as usual." It puts a smile on my face when they know what has happened, what is going on yet they go about their lives. It is quite a refreshing sight. We have seen Liberty ground troops looking for Insurgents on the planet as well which is the whole reason they attacked in the first place. We are watching them to make sure they do not "mistake" a Zoner for an Insurgent. They have offered Zoner ground troops to work with them but they will not work with them.
As to the government themselves, they refuse to talk. No surprise I guess. I will be here when and if they decide to. I am going to ask you and other Q-ship captains the same thing, do not come into system with those ships. I do not want the Navy instigated by their presence. We are better than them. I would rather see gunships and a variety of fighter and bomber craft than heavy ships. By my own example, I have my escort fighter here with my own transport.

The government not wanting talks does not surprises anyone... actually, they're trying to actively hunt us down. The "Counter-Insurgency" operation is nothing but a smoke curtain to justify their occupation of Erie and consequently Pennsylvania as a whole. They're going after us and they don't hide their intentions. Take a look at this recording that happened just in front of Erie:
The navy is also authorizing the destruction of any ships far away from the lanes. They're screening everything and everyone. We have refugees and survivors in Pinnacle outpost. They depend on us. They're all from the battle of Erie, those who made out of the blockade. They're true Zoners.
About leaving for the safe space of the Omicrons... we refuse. We're needed here. We'll stay in a low profile, hidden among the asteroid fields. We have rations and provisions we buy from Bethlehem using a small shuttle, and our Q-Ship has ammo and fuel. We're just waiting for the order and an opportunity to avenge those we lost. Never forget.

On the surface, things are a little tense but life for the most part has gone on as normal. Liberty troops are present looking for Insurgents questioning anyone for answers. Our own Zoner security will not work with them but they do not get in their way. THAT is where you can feel some tension. I blend in nicely as a lot of these men do not know who I am by look.
Your report is not the first I have received of Navy pilots harassing Zoners. It also does not surprise me. Remember, I have a man watching above in one of my fighters. I only know of this Pinnacle Outpost but do not know of its location. Perhaps it is just as well because if I am found, I have no doubt I will be questioned quite heavily. The Navy can have all the blockades it wants but there will always be people who find a way to supply it.

Actually, do let me know where it is. I have a connection that I can um, make a request to right here on the surface.
As to my transport, it is safe. One of my people is flying it elsewhere.

Glad to hear there isn't any actual conflict on the surface, at least for now. I don't want to even think about what the navy's criteria for an "insurgent" is. I'm afraid innocent Zoners will get dragged onto the infamous labor camps of Liberty...
About our base, the Pinnacle Outpost... it's quite tricky to find. It's located within the driftwood field, orbiting a small moon. To be more specific, it orbits in a geostationary point on the dark side of the moon. The moon shields the outpost from any long range scanners or telescopes, so you need to get closer than usual to pick up any signatures from the outpost. Also, you need to tune your scanners to detect smaller objects. The outpost's tiny and can very well be mistaken for an asteroid, or, simply ignored by your sensors.
There's a huge demand for pre-made supplies such as hull panels, machinery, bottled fuel and the like. Talk about trying to plug all the holes on a sinking boat as more show up - that's how the day to day on Pinnacle is.
