Why has the Response to DrengrCo attack declaration been deleted? - DrengrCo - 07-11-2023 Seriously, is the bias here that ubiquitous? https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=197813&pid=2296293#pid2296293 RE: Why has the Response to DrengrCo attack declaration been deleted? - Saronsen - 07-11-2023 if its a message not directed to you personally, your characters are unaware of it. im assuming you were doing what we in the RP biz call metagaming RE: Why has the Response to DrengrCo attack declaration been deleted? - DrengrCo - 07-11-2023 Ok. I knew that RP was not required to siege a Core1 base, but not that it was forbidden. RE: Why has the Response to DrengrCo attack declaration been deleted? - Emperor Tekagi - 07-11-2023 I think you reacted to the post in the Attack Declaration Thread, right? That's an ooRP forum. You're not aware iRP of a siege going to happen, because as you precisely said, no RP is required for a Core 1 beforehand. So neither did anyone contact you as base owner iRP nor did they have to make a RP post themselves (which if you cited in your RP, would be the metagaming Saronsen meant). I reacted TO the attack declaration via quote in another RP thread, not realizing that even that was in error. Although, I encountered them in the system, near the base in question only shortly before the declaration during which they were unambiguous about their intent, (sceenshots available) Still, quoting or even speaking of the declaration was in error, Now that the base has been openly sieged, I will correct that mistake.
