[Event] Tottori Skirmish - "Yami no Kourin" - Saturday, 5th August 830 A.S, 18 UTC - Yūmō Rōnin - 08-01-2023 » Yami no Kourin 闇の攻臨 Nearby Planet Tomioka Tottori System Yami no Kourin 闇の攻臨 — Dark Onslaught/Attack of the Darkness » Premise
Tomioka, a scorching sphere tempting bloodshed with its fiery sparks, holds ground as a vital objective for opposing revolutionaries alike the Blood Dragons, born out of a lasting treachery that has never been justified. While Samura relentlessly invests effort in equipping themselves with fitting gear to sustain stronghold on the Planet, they desperately petition for an amplified presence of the Naval Forces. In the meantime, the Empire has been progressively rehabilitating its might following the hardships of toilsome wars.
Revolutionary groups are confronted with a significant challenge in accomplishing their goals, primarily due to the constraints imposed by their numerical disadvantage. Further scramble for resources intensifies the difficulty of projecting power over long distances. Yet, the ingrained longing for resources does not stand in the way of vengeance. Numerous official figures, involved in impeding their opposition, have been under scrutiny for a long time. Ronin, with an eye on efficiency, patiently wait for the right moments to accomplish their assassinations through any means necessary. One such opportunity surfaced as a product of covertly obtaining intel on the whereabouts of one of these targets. The target falls under the allegiance of the Samura, the arch-nemesis of the Blood Dragons. Considered as traitors for assassinating sole master of the once Royal Guard, they endure merciless strikes that severely cripple their abilities. However, the primary actors, who devise schematics for various counterattacks, remain fundamental targets. The manner in which they subdued this Intel remains largely unknown to their opponents, yet there are theories suggesting a form of interception of communication signals. A Satellite Signal Jammer was placed the vicinity of the target area, nearby that would then emit powerful enough interference signals waves within approximate frequency bands used by Samura's satellites. Surveillance satellites would experience disruptions, and sometimes encounter difficulties in receiving clear, consistent data. The interference was likely sporadic, or perhaps short-lived to avoid suspicion, a counter-measure to prevent prolonged detection. Thereby, the Blood Dragons could distinguish insights into convoy's alleged destination and its to-be assassinated figure, supplies, dynamic motion patterns, and the allocation of its escort resources from the intercepted data. Intel had anticipated a transport convoy carrying armaments. However, during its movement, the transport oddly altered its path. Rumors suggest that the transport's propulsion systems surprisingly ceased functioning close to its destination. Escorts of the transport were along the way to Tomioka to transport their officer when they were suddenly struck by a massive barrage of missile salvos, and laser weapons. Blood Dragons initiated an assault, aiming to annihilate everyone present. The transport, unable to flee, was closely carrying armaments, and if the Dragons managed to acquire that material, it would significantly endanger Samura's operations in the sector. ***
"Okazaki-sensei, be advised, the projected convoy is en route, heading straight for Tomioka, with an organized formation of heavily armed escorts on both flanks, from both Hogosha, and the State Police. As a consequence of escalated activity brought by the Naval Forces, alongside the open space, our surveillance satellites will be rendered incapable of delivering complete intel support, thereby imposing constraints on our operations in Tottori. Scouts' understanding of the exact vessel containing our target remains limited despite thorough scanning. Our primary anticipation should have been centered around a transport loaded with military armaments, yet our scouts have been unable to identify its presence in the immediate surroundings. Our intelligence might be off. Orders stand to launch an unexpected assault on the escort convoy from the asteroid belt regardless, despite briefly exposing ourselves to open space. Our target must be brought down at any cost while we have the opportunity within reach. Long live the Blood Dragons." » General Overview

» Blood Dragon Victory
After the intense combat, a portion of debris came to occupy a minor part of the interaction sector. The Dragons, despite encountering minor impediments, were able to deal a substantial blast to their prey, and reportedly assassinate the targeted figure of interest. During the bloodshed, scouts had located the transport shipping confirmed military armaments. Technical malfunctions of the vessel, which caused inconvenience in obtaining the required materials, propelled the Dragons to destroy the armaments, thereby significantly hindering Samura's interests in the region. With minor difficulties, the operation proceeded as planned and resulted in success.
» Samura/KSP/Hogosha Victory
Samura's assets were subjected to an unforeseen assault, leaving them momentarily disordered. A violent battle followed, though gradually, the Dragons found themselves overwhelmingly outgunned, considering the improbability of receiving further assistance from afar. Both organizations faced losses on both flanks, leading to an inevitable decision of retreat. Defenders held their ground while offering cover to their leader. During the skirmish, the transport was located by two Dragon scouts, soon wrecked due to technical hardships. Yet, their leader escaped just in time, forcing their revolutionary opponents to withdraw from the sector in heavy losses.
