Overview

A combat patrol of the “1st Combined Arms Flotilla” stationed in Tau-44 sortie into Tau-23 to establish a border of the Harris blockade in the southern hemisphere of the system. Warned that an entire cruiser strike team had gone missing weeks before leading up to the mission. The officers of differing nationalities clashed as they had little familiarity training with each other before the mission. The Bretonians try to take charge and command the stubborn individualist Crayterians. Eventually agreeing to work as 2 separate forces cooperating in a mission. Both determined to prove they were the better soldiers. With command split, and beasts lurking in the wild Taus. It will take more than the allied forces' words to prove their claims of superiority.

Following learning of Crayterian movements, the Dons of Malta had issued an “open season” on Tau-23. Looking to silence any opposition to the Cradimine Cartels, the beating heart of Maltese society. Outcasts looking for easy riches swarm to Cali Base. Expecting only easy prey most work independently, while others still group up looking for bigger prey. The Royalist movement finds itself at the end of a rope. Most of them consisted of aged veterans who were too entertained by the gallic wars to enter civilian society again.
