Went to NY last night and got ganked. Does it really take 2 gunboats plus a number of others I was killed too soon to even id to deal with 2 Order bombers?

Also, were you there to roleplay or to fly around pew-pewing caps? Because if it was the latter, you pretty much deserve what you get. Pick a fight in a capital system and you're going to stir the bee's nest. Doesn't matter what faction you do it in.
If I bring my Bounty Hunter Manta to Minor, I expect to wake up an Osiris within ten minutes.

Well if we'd brought 2 GBs and gone after a pair of Lib bombers everyone would have freaked out on us, but we tried to keep it fair. *shrug*

actually, 2 gunboats vs 2 lib bombers has the potential to be fair if all pilots are evenly matched. Still, it doesn't change the fact that when you invade a capital system you should expect to get ganked, hard. IF the enemy is nice they'll fight you fairly, but don't expect it or ask for it. And if they do fight you fairly and win, don't complain "lol you needed a whole fleet to kill me". Argh! That just makes people want to gank you!
