To whom it may concern, My name is Jacklyn Hewitt, a Commander with the Liberty Insurgency. To be honest, I was hoping that I wouldn't be sending this myself, as much of the journey up here from Vespucci quite frankly hasn't been a calm one. However, at your request and I suppose out of custom as well, I'm making contact. As your people have probably already informed you, our vessel is that of an Interdictor, and given our weight class I've elected to keep to the Freelancer-run installation not far from our point of entry so as to keep away from any potential altercations with local traffic. I don't suspect that much if anything will go wrong, since the Admiralty had a fairly stable relationship with most people from Gallia, but I'd rather take things carefully. Should the Corse allow it, we'd like to hold here for a few days, maybe a week, before we move out for our destination. Myself and many of my crew are still somewhat shaken from action in Magellan and Edinburgh, and this coupled with being well into uncharted waters is making R&R all the more needed. If the Corse have access to updated maps of the nearby Tau systems, I would also be more than happy to pay for them. I look forward to hearing from you, Principal. Hewitt, out. Transmission Ends

We fully comprehend the situation you find yourself in; the journey from Vespucci to Provence must not have been an easy one. Similar to our ancestors from the Mediterranean, we hold hospitality sacred. Therefore, you are welcome to stay in our system for as long as necessary. Should you require provisions like food, water, repair materials, or consumer goods for your crew, we are more than willing to assist. As for the maps of the neighboring Tau systems, the situation might be complex. Not because we lack the capability, but due to the sensitivity of such information. I hope you can understand my reluctance. This isn't a refusal; we can certainly reach an agreement and provide you with the maps you need for your ongoing journey. Sin'à tandu. Principal Orsini, I can't thank you enough for your generosity. I've notified my crew, and I think it's fair to say the collective relief was quite evident. I'm not sure if many will stray beyond Monte Carlo for the time being, or won't just use the time to get some well needed sleep, but it is a welcome sign regardless. On the point of repairs, whatever materials the Corse have access to should be more than sufficient to patch any points of concern along the hull. My engineers haven't provided me with a concrete timeframe, as there are still parts of the ship that are still being analyzed for problem spots, but they should hopefully be done by the time we're prepared to move on. For the maps, I can understand the caution. Our destination is a freeport in the northern Taus, and our data acquired from the freelance outpost in Leeds already seems to have hit the extent of reliable data we can gather from it. Part of the reason we're even in your space was thanks to an outdated jump hole layout. The maps we'd require wouldn't need to be fully detailed, although as much non-sensitive data as we can access would of course be ideal, lest we encounter unexpected hazards or another mislabeled jump hole, the latter of which is my primary concern. I'll be in touch, and again, thank you. Hewitt, out. Transmission Ends
