RECIPIENT: Harus Byrke, President, Deep Space Engineering (DSE))
LOCATION: Eupen Handelsplatz, Texas
SUBJECT: South Dallas debris clean-up
ENCRYPTION: High

Geschätzter Herr,

My name is Adam Linhardt, and I represent the construction department of Sirius Entsorgung. It is my wish to open a channel of communications between our companies regarding the South Dallas debris field. We have previously established a processing center in Texas, Eupen Handelsplatz, which is the current seat of our CEO, Basti Legion. As Herr Legion is focused on planning ahead for future contracts pending recent technological developments, he has assigned me as the liaison with your corporation.

After a preliminary analysis of the problem, I immediately realized that this type of clean-up is not something SEO is perfectly geared towards. It seems that the contamination event, whatever it may have been, has occurred a long time ago. This means that the most radioactive materiel have expired past their half-lives, and we are left with contaminants of a low-level severity. While this is not our specialty per se, I believe that we can re-calibrate our sorting and pre-processing pipeline up to the new specifications.

I propose that the crews of Eupen and your own Chesterfield work in tandem to process the scrap metal loads which we have been in the process of mining. Eupen can take the most contaminated materials, and inspect the rest for shipment and storage on Chesterfield. I had Herr Manz, my security chief, make inquiries about your operation, and I have to say that I am impressed, though I am unfamiliar with certain requirements. If you agree, I will also embed contamination experts into your own mining details, to assess your own scrap metal loads. One of my most experienced captains, Herr Hauer, estimates that around 70% of the scrap he mined thus far is barely contaminated, and can be refined into most non-delicate construction materials without additional processing. The other 30% can be processed at Eupen before transportation and refinement. I have already overseen the creation of the first warehouse facility, and more can be constructed if necessary.

Besides your cooperation, the main thing necessary for a smooth operation here is manpower. SEO does not yet boast a large fleet, though we are growing by the month. If you are able to offer incentives to Liberty-based crews, I strongly believe that we will be able to make a dent in the South Dallas field within the coming months. Herr Manz assures me that there is currently no danger from the dark matter storm, and Herr Legion himself has already secured Navy escort support during larger-scale operations. Our security detachment has also been stationed on Eupen, and will be able to assist any lone miners as necessary.

I hope that the information I provided here will convince you to consider a partnership between our corporations. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact me at any point, and I will either answer them directly, or pass them along to those with more expertise, including Herr Legion himself. If you are interested, I will offer specific rates and tonnage of materials to be recovered, as well as preliminary convoy schedules for large operations.
