>TO: Gallic Union Government | FROM: Unione Corse Shipping Elements - Pinko - 09-25-2023 U MESSAGGIU INIZIA • Recipient: Gallic Union Government • Sender: Initiée Aurèlie LaBrise • Source: Bourbon Base, Burgundy • Subject: Reorganization of the Corsican Fleets Saluti, Esteemed members of the Government. In these times of restructuring and changes, the Provence government finds itself burdened with the prospect of rebuilding a more just society for us all. The path that has brought us to this moment has been long, arduous, and full of twists.. For our families, that have played a key role in maintaining order before, during, and after the Civil War, this meant occasionally lightening the load on the Council's limited resources by finding alternative means of supplying and building our own fleet as the conflict grew fiercer.
From such brilliant minds in need of a rapid solution was the L'Ane developed, a robust and agile transport more than capable of running through the Royalists' blockade. Freely, we have extended the branch to various factions of the revolution, offering such a beast of burden to all that could help chip in, as materials and manpower was limited to us all. Thus, now in a much more peaceful setting, our petard has proverbially hoisted in our own faces, as these blockade runners occasionally find themselves in unsteady, even unlawful hands, and as a result, are often found to be on the wrong side of the law. The Corse understands the dilemma, and though we wish to eventually move away from such designs in the future, our current fleet still has dozens of these vessels currently mothballed and rotting along various shipyards and worlds due to their legal status limbo. Thus, rather than ordering a brand new transport fleet to replace the old one, further putting pressure on our already strained shipyards, we offer a counterpoint: the licensing of the fleet of L'Ane that belong to the Corse. Financing that will finally close a loophole in the current laws, as well as help the Union to recuperate. Of course, we are ready to hear your opinion on the matter and open a frank, open discussion on the subject. In the hopes of swiftly hearing back from you, Sin'à tandu. RE: >TO: Gallic Union Government | FROM: Unione Corse Shipping Elements - The Gallic Union - 09-25-2023 25th of September, 746 AGS / 830 AS Sender: Provisional Gallic Union Licensing & Permittance Office Recipient: The Unione Corse Subject: "L'Ane" transport licensing officialization Unione Corse ex-representative; We are aware that the Unione Corse utilizes L'Ane-class transports, and, in fact, they have undergone government oversight, affirming their legal status. The L'Ane, despite its 'Blackmarket' classification, holds a prominent position in Provence's shipping routes and beyond due to its widespread availability and exceptional utility. We are also aware of their use by less-than-favorable entities.
The addition of the L'Ane-class transport to the authorized restricted shipline for the Unione Corse is therefore effective immediately, with all L'Ane transports under the Corse identification, legal. End of Message
