Siege cruiser won't fire FWG unless mouse is in specific, very small location on screen, most likely due to it now having a small arc instead of being entirely locked.

Right Mouse held down for duration of video without being released.

That's because the gun is no longer force_ori = true. Basically, firing at the arcs you're trying to fire would've just missed because you would've fired into empty space wasting your powercore. Currently, it has a 2.5 degree arc, same with the BD Cruiser. Upped it to 5, which is about as far up as we're willing to go, as more than this means the gun effect starts clipping through the ship and that sucks.

the FWG being unreliable at best and losing you a fight at worst because you have to get in that tiny invisible box that designates where it can shoot with your mouse and firing nothing because youre not pixel perfect

We have expanded the arc for the upcoming hotfix. We can go from there. It was honestly just an idea to try out that we hoped would make it more usable in TS where force ori guns tend to be awesome at missing a lot in TS. Plus force ori tends to cause some heavy desync.

If it all doesn't work out we can always go back to force ori though.

force ori at least guaranteed your shots firing when you right clicked but yes i can agree that shots firing off randomly on screen is silly and unpleasant to fight, even if you know its coming at you
the only thing i can suggest to offset the shot going through the model is shifting where the effects appear forwards a bit from the gun (or if the gun is invisible, just moving it forwards physically). might help it not look goofy and if it gains some functionality from the angle too, cool

i cant say i ever tried to use the FWG in turret steer, so i cant comment on that.

Or just go back to the original, if you shoot the Foward gun and not aiming, then, well, nothing happens, you just spend a shoot ...
And people is messing with Liberty Siege Crusier, when i was able to blow lot of 46th and 1st from Navy using a Siege Crusier and not even knowing about how to use it just because i found the spot just in the end of the ship, if you change to view inside the ship, for that moment, and aim the farthest point of the ship, and you shoot that small line is where the shoot it will be landing, and unless your timing isn't "perfect" was kinda easy to land a shot, but this new "Mechanic" make it way less fun to do it ... what is why like some ships need a way to be playable to know where i am shooting some of them need a better viewplace on where i am not shooting (the Dragon Crusier for example have this issue, the inside or outside views were kinda bad to pin-point a place where you can actually shoot, that is of course unless people want to install and app to put a center on their screens to know if they are shooting correctly or not ... just tell me so i can know what should i do with all my ships having a "Foward gun" in them
And please, consider change the number of that Foward gun! ... the Valor have it in Slot #21 ¬¬ ... don't make me jokes about it !!

And when is supposed to be "FIXED GUN" it should remain Fixed, they are meant to "Make enemies pay for his errors" ...

Anyway, i belive the gun should be 0° as Fixed gun while being able to push into the ship
BUT PLEASE PUT IN SLOT #1 as BEFORE!
